Unfortunately, he has been pegged as the winner since day 1. And I say unfortunately because it made it difficult for any of the other designers to even stand a chance. I haven't disliked his design...he was a bit harsh at times...and VERY rough around the edges...but there were other designers I liked MUCH better...but alas...their shows were cancelled. I'm sure if HGTV is on and his show comes on, I'll watch...but he won't be any "color splash"!
