Who went home while I was gone...

I already announced the winner of Project runway....so here's the other shows I sadly had to wait a whole week to see...

Top Design (design a room that would exist in the year 2108)...do you remember in the '80s

 and '90s when movies were made about life in 2000 whatever and there were flying cars and robots (sort of like the jetsons) and here we are in 2008 and things are just the same as they were back then...but with better fashion....well...I guess they think that in the year 2108 there are going to be flying cars and moving floors and cloning clinics....well...I won't be around to tell

 you if they were spot on...but I'm guessing not.  The youngster, Natalie, was sent home which saddens me a bit because I really liked her...but that figures doesn't it? This is her room...instead of a staircase...you have a "lever" and you move the "lever to whatever floor you want to be on and the floor moves you to that living space...I guess not "futuristic" enough.

Tim Gunn's guide to style....this lady was so entirely full of herself and it was more important

 to her to have name brand things then good fit and well put together outfits.  I was annoyed the entire time that she had the opportunity to be on the show...to get the elaborate gifts and fancy makeover....she is a VERY rich lady who shouldn't have these opportunities, especially with such a negative attitude!

Amazing Race...as Jo-dan is with Survivor...I have been with this show...I have just been

 annoyed the past few seasons with the bad attitudes and irritating partnerships...and this season is no different.  What I do enjoy about the show...is when "sweet" girls like this make complete and total fools of themselves with comments like (on the way to Australia)...do you think they'll like blonds in Australia...seriously???  Awesome...just awesome!  

America's Next Top Model...was recap week, so with all my other shows to watch I didn't even take the time.

Yep....there were tears!

If you are a project runway watcher, you are aquainted with Tim Gunn...he has his own show (this is actually the 2nd season) where he does makeovers on women.  It is a similar idea to "What not to wear" but a little more kind...a lot less clothes and more of a emotional transformation, I think.  Plus...Tim has the makeoveree meet with a famous designer, try on some of their clothes...and then they get to keep one of the dresses..plus Tim always buys them some ridiculously expensive purse or piece of jewelery...or both.  Anyway....it is a pretty good show!  Tim has a side kick..Greta (she is often on The Rachel Ray show doing fashion stuff)...she is new this season and is fabulous and WAY better then the chick from last season.  Of course it is on Bravo (really my fav new channel...well, that and HGTV)...so check it out if you can.  It was on Wednesdays at midnight but this week it was on Thursday at midnight...so check your local listing!

This is Angela from last....a concerts pianist who is leaving that career and has begun her own "green" skin care line...she had some serious body image issues but worked through them....yes, I even got teary-eyed with her...but she made an amazing transformation....
