After the final rose...

So I am just curious...why would you want to talk to the girl that dumped you at the "proposal altar"...you can't do anything different...she just likes someone else more...I guess if it makes you feel better...it doesn't matter what you would have done...she was gonna pick Ed from the beginning!

And then there's Reid...is he still crushed...? He even looks haggard...and he was always so clean cut...c'mon, you were one of my favorites...get over her and move on!  And hey...the girls in the crowd love you! Wow...they sure are torturing Jillian tonight. Had he not come back...he would always wonder...so I'm glad he was able to answer those questions that were on his mind...he is still waiting for her to fall into his arms...it's just not going to happen!  This whole thing is just sad...they need to let it go...it's almost painful to watch! And then the girl's in the crowd are asking him out...

I don't believe for one second that they weren't back in the green room together. The future: Jillian is moving to Chicago for a bit...and a marriage in the next 12 months?  We shall see.  I honestly hope that it works out for them...they sound a little bit more down to earth about things...have spent lots of time together...good luck kids!

PS...I really like Chris the host...he cracks me up...thanks for the shout out to Wes...has anyone bought his album yet?

PPS...Glad to see that Melissa is doing so great and engaged...I really liked her a lot!

And the winner is....

ED

and I don't have much else to say about it!  (to be honest I fast forwarded through almost the entire show....I just wasn't emotionally attached to either of the guys) I am sure she made the right decision for herself.  I could really care less for either of them...and the whole Reid thing was just silly and a bit traumatizing for her...so there ends the season.

I will be watching after the final rose...just to hear anything else...but I am guessing there is no further drama!

A waste and then some funny...

The Bachelorette "The men tell all" was very dumb and I fast forwarded most of the show.  These guys are more caddy then the girls.  And seriously...who were the ones defending Wes, are you kidding me with that?!  Whatever!  The only good part was the preview for next week and seeing that the "shocking confession" is Reid back to tell her that he loves her and wants to marry her.  Duh...as if we didn't see that coming.  I really don't know who she will pick...I'm just pretty sure it won't end in marriage.  Sorry Jillian...the odds are against you!

Okay...so that show ended and then Dating in the Dark began...awesome!  Most Awesome part...none of the contestants were all that fantastic looking and yet they still highly judged each other.  I was really glad to see that at least 2 of the couples ended the show getting into the same car...I felt so bad for the one guy who was left stranded on the balcony while his "match" walked out the front door.  I liked her through the show and was very upset that she ditched him like that...not cool girlfriend, not cool.  So if you missed this show or the many previews...there are 3 guys and 3 girls in a house, but they never get to see each other.  They meet on individual dates in the pitch black.  It isn't till after (I think a week) that they finally see each other...but they don't get to see the other's reaction to them.  THEN...if they still want to try it...they can go out on the balcony or just leave.  The craziest thing about this show...they brought in a sketch artist for the kids to describe what they think their "match" looks like (after spending lots of time in the dark room on "dates")...the girls pictures were scary on how closely they resembled the girls...it was very interesting that the guys knew what they girls looked like with out ever seeing them...the girls did an okay job...but not even as good as the guys! Anyway...it is a pretty fun show...just an hour on monday nights and you get to see it from start to finish in one episode, which is nice for a change!  Check it out!

She eliminated the best one...

and she left herself with these 2....

good luck with that!
Next week...the "men tell all"...or maybe the real title will be, "Wes, the biggest tool on tv"!

I could never do this show....ever!

I have decided that Reid is my favorite...I think he is adorably cute and very funny...he comes out of no where with the funniest things.  I feel bad for him because he is totally in to Jillian but doesn't know how to put it out there for her.  I almost don't want her to pick him 'cause I think that it is killing him that she is with other guys and if they end up together and then he has to watch her with the other guys and what she says to and about them, I am not sure his little heart can handle it.  I don't know how anyone can do this show...on either end.  How could you be 1 of 25 and handle a person you may really like being with other people.  Or how could you be the 1 and be dating all these people...you are bound to like things in lots of them and making a decision would be near impossible...there would always be the questions in the back of your mind if you made the right decision.

My thoughts on the other guys...Kiptyn...he is pretty cute and funny enough...I seriously don't really have a strong feeling one way or another.  Ed...seriously?...he played it just right...leave when there are is a handful of guys left...miss the hometown date...and come back in when you can be flown to a far away country and have only one-on-one time...well played sir! (are they really standing in a fountain making out with people watching...this girl has no shame).  And then there is Wes...silly little Wes...if she can't finally see through him then she deserves to be heart-broken again! Wes is a tool! Wes just said, "numero uno is most important here"...is that really what you would say to a girl you are trying to woo...and then when he pretends she is Jake to tell her the Laural story...he calls Laural is "girlfriend...ex-girlfriend"...enter "fantasy suite card"...I would boot him right there...no need for another rose ceremony...and then he has the balls to tell her that he thinks they should take the fantasy suite.

And hey...Wes has the balls to show up at the rose ceremony...who does this guy think he is.  Did you hear him say in Spain that on his second album he had a song that went to #1 in Chihuahua, Mexico...so he feels very at home with the "spanish"....could someone please give him a geography lesson.

Guess the show couldn't afford to send Chris to Spain too...man this economy is hurting everyone!

And the big shocker of the night...Wes is finally headed home...as Lil D would say, "peace out"! "The first guy ever to make it to the top 4 with a girlfriend"...Oh my gosh...he is the biggest jerk...if you missed his little speech in the limo...it's probably for the better...seriously JERK! And I hope that all the country fans out there watched this episode so that they would see what a tool he is and that they would never buy an album of his...

Who stays and who goes...?

These newlyweds finally got the boot, and I couldn't be happier.  They were an embarrassment to all of us normal LDS couples and I am so glad that I no longer have to watch them on my show!  Have I said this week "Go McMorrises"!

My DVR decided that I didn't need to watch the drama unfold on The Bacherlorette last night...which is too bad...because I did want to see the drama unfold.  All I got from little recaps was that Jake came to rat out Wes...and she kept him anyway..and Ed decided that the possibility of an engagement (which will end within the year) is more important then maintaining his job in "this economy"...oh well....

Reid is still around, and since he grew on my last week I am perfectly great with that.

This yahoo will probably go to the end and then more drama will follow!

I forget about this guy half the time, except I feel sorry that his name is Kiptyn...

And well...good luck in the unemployment lines!

It's time to meet the family!

So these are the final 5 that Jillian will be going home with...what?
I don't really see her with any of them...

Jesse has been pretty quite in it all and I always forget about him.  Wes is a weasel and with the previews for next weeks show it only gets more drama. Reid is a nice guy...but I haven't thought much of him before...this past Monday during his one-on-one date he cracked me up a bit and I actually liked him. Michael is a funny guy...but nothing more...she really needs to ditch him.  And then there's Kiptyn...sorry about your name dude...but he is a super nice guy and I think will be one of the final few...

I love how they have the longest previews to show us what is happening over the next couple of weeks...really trying to keep viewers hooked...should be a fun night next Monday...

I don't claim to understand...but I watch anyway!

I was pretty excited about Jillian being the bachelorette....but I'm a little frustrated...only about one guy she has been keeping around...Tanner.

I'm hoping the only reason she is keeping him is in the hopes that he will spill the beans on "which guys have girlfriends"...whatever...I am really hoping the Wes drama will play out next week so that she can ditch both Wes and Tanner.

I don't really have a favorite right now...I just have guys I could care less for...Tanner of course is the top of that list...Wes can go...and Reid can go.  And although Michael is funny...he is not marriage material at all...in fact...his break dancing is more SYTYCD then Bachelorette.

I'm pretty aware...as all of you should be as well...that whoever Jillian picks, is really not going to last forever.  Unfortunately!

...Get me out of here...and other shows.

If you missed the premiere of "I'm a celebrity"...let me just say...you missed 2 hours of pretty laugh out loud fun!  This "celebrity" show is awesome and WAY better then celebrity apprentice.  The most awesome "celebrities"...Spencer and Heidi...

I spent a few minutes reading the posts on NBCs website and half the people on their stated that wanted to know who the "blonde and spencer" are.  AWESOME! I can't even begin to tell you all of the fantastic things that Spencer said.  After trying to quit 2 times...they finally decided to stick it out, but not before talking directly to the producer informing him that they are "too famous and too rich" to be with "these people"..."just being around these people is hurting my fame".  Seriously...who does he think he is?!  Heidi spent all of her time crying to the camera and spraying her hair with "dry shampoo". Spencer is a complete tool and other words I shouldn't say here...I just can't wait to see what Joel McHale has to say about him this Friday on "The Soup"...seriously...can't wait!

The other "celebrities" were just fine...even Janice Dickinson (so far at least). D and I decided that we would love to be on a show with Stephen Baldwin, he totally cracks me up.  I do wanna kick Sanjaya...but not as much as Spencer, so I will get over him.  I also think that "Frangela" is pretty funny...and enjoy them on "Best Week Ever".

I really can't wait till tonight to see who gets the first boot...I am hoping and wishing that it is Spencer...or Heidi if it has to be...please, please, please America!!!

HERE COME THE NEWLYWEDS!!!

This was one of my favorite reality shows of last summer.  The couples are so funny...the host is hilarious..and the competitions are fantastic.  Truly and enjoyable show.  I missed the premiere last week, which totally bums me..but this week didn't disappoint.

The girls got to feel up all the boys bums to figure out which bum belonged to their man...then Dr. Ruth showed up for a little "sex talk"...one couple was VERY uncomfortable and the husband tried to embarass the wife (something D would totally do to me) and her punishment to him...she punched him where the babies come from...yep...punched him.  I would never do that...'cause I need those babies still! It's a highly entertaining show...check it out!

My favorite couple right now: The McMorrises (so funny!)

and then there was...
THE BACHELOR

I missed the first 2 weeks...even though I love Jillian...guess I would rather come in when there aren't so many guys to keep track of...

still too many guys to keep track of...and seriously...they are just as caddy as any girl!  Good luck Jillian!

And the winner is...the real winner I mean!

The second finale has aired...and congrats ABC...you succeded....EVERYONE is talking about your bachelor.

I no longer like Jason...and I never like Molly...so I am real glad "my girl" Melissa is no longer with him...Jason and Molly can have each other!

I am listening to all of the audiences comments and I just need to say....America trashed the Bachelor Brad when he didn't choose Deanna or the other girl...I mean, he got trashed...but really...he did the right thing....Jason proposed when he loved 2 different girls...rather then not choosing either...so he deserves the lickings his getting.  Including the hilarious Jimmy Kimmel and the trash he threw last night.

Didn't Jillian tell him that he needed to find his best friend...stupid guy!  Guess if he listened to Jillian he would have picked Molly and none of this drama would have occurred...oh wait...he did want Molly...and all the drama was planned!

Molly...wah wah...I was going through heartache all by myself...wah wah wah.  Not only is Melissa having to go through that heartache now...but she is also dealing with the humiliation of being dumped on National TV...just after a fantastic proposal was aired.  And I won't even comment on the 2 of them together...I am over them!

Drum Roll please.....your next Bachelorette:

Jillian

Wahoo!!!! I couldn't be more excited!!!!

If you can believe it...I made a mistake

In my previous post I stated that there was only 2 bachelorettes...luckily my cousin Jamie is on top of things...DeAnna was actually #4.

Season 2
Meredith was originally a contestant on The Bachelor's fourth season, but was not chosen. She was approached by ABC and became the star of the second season of The Bachelorette. She ultimately chose Ian McKee, but they broke up in February 2005.

Season 3
Jen Schefft, selected by Andrew Firestone in Season 3 of The Bachelor, got a second chance at love, after her relationship with Firestone ended, in The Bachelorette's third season. She chose Jerry Ferris, an art gallery director, over fellow finalist John Paul Merritt in a first live final-rose ceremony.[2] During this last episode, Jerry proposed to Jen. She rejected his proposal, however, stating that the chemistry was not there.
(Wikipedia)

I totally forgot about these shows...there have just been too many. So I will give an apology to all of you men out there...the women's track record of picking the correct person is really no better then the mens...

The Bachelorette is getting married

I suppose I should put my opinions about Monday nights show for all to view, not that anyone watches but me...however, I will share anyway.  For all of you non watchers....she chose the long-haired snowboarder from CO....What?  you say...I know, I KNOW!  It is crazy and after watching the "After the final rose"  I am pretty much sick of them...way to lovey dovey, kinda gross really!  And from the sounds of it, I believe they are already living together???  Not sure how that is possible (since it is all secret) but whatever.

I am not going to go into details on the final show, because to no surprise they had you believing she would pick Jason...and then he got out of the car first...shocker?  No...because whoever you think it will be, it won't.  Jason was completely shocked...he totally thought he had it in the bag!

On a side note...during the after show, DeAnna FINALLY gave Brad (the guy who dumped her) a break...she has always said that he led her on...hello....doesn't the main person lead every person on until the end..YES!  So she tells Jason that she never wanted him to feel how she felt the day she got dumped, but she sees that he did feel that way and couldn't stop apologizing.  Then she stated that she understands the position that Brad was in and, I don't remember her exact words, but she basically gave him a break for all the crap.  HALLELUJAH!!!!  It is about time....

Anyway, DeAnna and Jesse are supposedly getting married on May 9, 2009...wonder if will we have a replay of Trista and Ryan???  I think it would be interesting if they really do get married...because that would mean that the 2 bachelorettes actually know how to pick a future companion and none of the Bachelors do...interesting!

And we're down to two....

I wasn't able to view The Bachelorette last night since I am in Seattle and totally forget to have my sis record it for me (we were at the movies seeing Wall E....definitely a must see), anyway...I read the recaps today on Yahoo.com and saw that Jeremy was booted...finally...creepy guy is gone. We are now down to Jason (with a kid) and Jesse (the snowboarder)...I am pretty sure she will pick Jason and I will be SHOCKED if she doesn't...but really, I don't care because Graham is still my fav. Looked like they got into it pretty good on the "Men Tell All"...

So for all you fans out there (just me a Marlene)...stay tuned for next weeks finale!
