LCS...what ever happened to you?

Thank you Last Comic Standing for putting through only a few of the funny people who tried out for the show, so I don't have to be torn to choose who I like best.
Thank you Last Comic Standing for wasting half of Thursday's show by showing us the comics dressing up in ridiculous costumes and parading in front of a camera for a calendar no one will buy...I was able to blog without having to rewind to watch something funny I may have missed.
Thank you Last Comic Standing for decreasing your ability to come up with truly funny competitions...I wouldn't want you to feel pressured to out-do yourselves year after year...that may be stressful and we wouldn't want there to be any stress on high-paid television producers who are supposed to entertain us.
And thank you studio audience who voted Thursday for FINALLY making the right choice and getting rid of Ku and God's Pottery....it is a bit sad that the general population knows better who is the funniest then people who get paid the big bucks!

Here are my thoughts on LCS...a break-down of each comic:
- Adam Hunter: I have not yet made up my mind on him...I kinda forget who he is.
- Esther Ku: Terrible, Hallelujah she's gone.
- God's Pottery: see above....
- Iliza Shlesinger: has her funny moments, but won't make it too much farther...and the only reason she got 60+% of the votes is because of who she was up against.
- Jeff Dye: I think he is very funny...loved all the gym jokes a few weeks back....plus, fellow washingtonian...can I get a woo-woo.
- Jim Tavare: I don't think he is very funny and was very dissappointed he won the challenge.
- Louis Ramey: He is funny
- Marcus: He is also funny...and I'm glad that he has laid off his voice impersonations a bit, atleast in the stand up stuff...glad to see he is humorous apart from sounding like other people. OHHHH...he should hook up with that girl from AI that sounded like Brittney...they could have an awesome routine together.
- Papa CJ: He is soooo not funny!
- Paul Foot: see above....
- Ron G: He was funny at his initial try-outs, but since then I am not a fan
- Sean Cullen: everything he says is sexual and it is OLD!!!

So as you can see....I really only like Jeff Dye and Marcus (a bit)...and Louis Ramey....Do you remember the first few years when everyone was funny???? Ahhhh...the good old days...

Who do you think is funny?

Last comic, I've never been very dedicated, somehow I accidentally forgot to change the channel while dance was recording, if I remember the schedule right... I liked God's Pottery, sorry, obviously I'm in the minority, I love the intentionally unfunny comedy, brilliant... I think they know they aren't doing what is traditionally funny, and that's the ironic funny thing... plus throw a guitar on a comedian and I'll vote for them every time... I couldn't argue that the blond girl got more laughs, more traditional funny.

My big problem, is the whole cemetery thing... ok, weird yes, but incredibly disrespectful and sacrilegious. You could see the comics trying to avoid walking on people's grave on their way to the benches, which looked like they were right on top of the graves... I'd be so angry if my relative was buried there... am I the only one bothered by this? Remember when cemeteries used to be considered hallowed ground, people would only speak in hushed tones etc etc... I know that there are just bones underneath, but it is disrespectful to their memories I think.... way bothered.

Teri...I agree that Jeff Dye and Louis Ramey are funny, but Marcus is the BEST!!! He is hilarious, and the fact that he can do impressions as well as a ton of awesome material just makes him a better comedian. He's my fav.

In regards to Survivor...no worries, it is not being canceled. The next season (Survivor:Gabon) premieres on 18 September 2008. I read several articles that discussed some production hold-ups on this next season due to wild hippopatomi (apparently they are very dangerous and keep coming around when they are not wanted...Jeff Probst stated that they don't mind if they come around every once in a while because it adds some drama, but they can't be there all the time). Also, they are having shipping problems that are causing the crew to have to sleep in tents...and they have not been able to get the $100,000 worth of food to the crew, so they might be playing "Survivor: Crew"...I haven't been able to find any information about future seasons, but I'll keep checking...

Bless you Jo-Dan. I am glad that Survivor is not cancelled, but heart broken they didn;t pick me to be on the show (hence my FACEBOOK group, 'I auditioned for SURVIVOR'). This just means they didn't want me.
It's okay, I still love them!

What? I like Jim Tavare. I don't really have a fav. yet, but I am glad that G's Pottery left. Time for a new episode.

I think Adam Hunter is by far the funniest. You can check out more of his stuff at www.myspace.com/comedian
