American Idol---Week 1---the results

Well...before AI even started this year they were making comments about "big changes"...so the "judges save" must be that big change! I think it is dumb...if someone is sent home, it's 'cause America is done with them...sorry if you are all shocked...big wah! It won't change much...If the judges do decide to save someone...and you had that person going home...you get the points...you just may be able to do that 2 weeks in a row. Also...if they do end up saving someone and the following week they send 2 people home...we will just vote and do points like we did tonight..so it shouldn't affect too much! Other then that...tonight's show was just like any other kick-off show...predictable as to who will be in the bottom..just based on seating arrangement. Kinda lame...I did enjoy Kanye West's and KC's performances. I am not a fan of Kanye as a person...but I do love his music...And of course, I have been a HUGE fan of KC since the beginning...so that was fun! Alright...on to the real reason you are reading this post....the points:

Week 1 bottom 4:

Megan Jasmine Jorge Anoop

(Megan and Anoop were the competitor favorites to go home...better luck next week)

Jasmine (not a surprise at all...although I didn't have her going home...silly me)

Jorge (kinda a shocker...not a great performance...but better then Anoop, in my opinion)

10 points for all 4
7 points for 3 of 4
5 points for 2 of 4
3 points for 1 of 4
2nd number:
5 points for each correct person going home
3rd number:
10 points for each pre-vote person going home for weeks 1 & 2

*A total of 40 points were available tonight...JayHawk and Clayverter have taken the lead with 22 points...nice work ladies.  Then a huge crowd close behind with 17...oh, it will be a fun game!
