Ladies...if you are home and watching the Olympics, I sure hope you are watching KSL because it is Rhythmic Gymnastics time...and it is pretty hilarious. The outfits are awesome, the makeup is unforgettable, and the dancing...oh the dancing. It reminds me of the interpretive dances I had to do my junior year of high school in our school library. Check it out, if you are not already.

7 down one to go!
Go Michael Phelps...what a ridiculous and nearly impossible finish! I dare say better then the relay finish against the smack talking french! Absolutely amazing!!!

U-S-A U-S-A
I love Women's Gymnastics. I love that my stomach gets all tied in knots when they are on the uneven bars and balance beam and my heart leaps with each bobble or flip. I love that I send bad thoughts towards the other teams, in the hopes that they will fall. Is that bad? Well, I don't even care because I love women's gymnastics...and I love that we took gold and silver in the all around competition. Way to go little girls! And secretly, I am glad that Nastia took the gold....it is always fun with the girl that isn't getting all the hype, takes it all...fabulous.

Olympic Countdown
Though it's usually Janet's job to inform us of all things athletic, I just wanted to remind you all that the Olympic trials will be on channel 5 (KSL) this weekend and various days through July. This is like the pre-show when you get a feel for who you want to cheer for. This weekend is track and swimming. WATCH and SUPPORT!

Countdown to Beijing
Can we add the Olympics to the Reality TV site? I should hope so! Did anyone besides me catch the women's gymnastics qualifying meet this weekend? I thought it was great. It's amazing what people can do with their bodies (I say as I sit on my new couch and grab another cookie).
I am loving Chellsie Memmel and Shawn Johnson, Shawn being my favorite. Shawn looks like spitfire. She is being compared to Mary Lou Retton. It was amazing to see these young women hit their landings and fly through the beam/bars/vault/floor exercises. Amazing. I am looking forward to the Olympics.
Why don't they show the men's qualifying meet?
The track and field qualifying rounds are next week. I am also excited for the swimming.
What are you planning to watch for the Olympics???
