It is VERY late...I was at six flags all day (don't cry for me...it was fantastic) so I didn't get to watch the show till way late...hopefully my tired mind added correctly...but before we get to that...
Some thoughts on posts made by all of you:
I loved everyone's critiques on the individual singers last night...thank you...I love to hear others thoughts...especially when they coincide with mine!
AJ...I truly appreciate your list of songs...I may have to spend a little more time digging deeper into the wonderful music of 1977.
Blueroserider...you may want to rethink getting a DVR...based on your standings...you don't really need to watch the show to make good picks...
Krisverted...I have officially changed your name...mostly because we have such a bond over that cute little boy....have fun in Big D
CSandy...I don't believe there is a mormon or UT connection with Scott (although I could be mistaken)...however I totally agree with you on the dancing thing!
The show:
Was anyone REALLY surprised that Simon is turning 50 this year...I wouldn't have been shocked if he was even a little older then that...
I am disappointed in the first singing act they had perform...don't even remember the name of the guy/group...just know the song is dirty and therefore fast forwarded.
Loved another lip-synched performance by the contestants...just cracks me up.
And I can't get over the amount of plastic surgery little Kellie Pickler has had...and she still shouldn't sing live.
The bottom 3:
Anoop....grrrr (I almost deleted my original guess to change Kris out for him...so mad I didn't do that)
Scott...NOT surprised
Lil....sadly...relieved, that my allison was still safe...
And who do we say farewell too.....
SCOTT (sorry, no pic this week...too tired to take the time...I'm sure you won't mind)
I don't think any of us are surprised by this...it was past time...he has not done well...AND tonight's performance really not any better...so why is it that the judges tried to fake us out with a 2 to 2 vote...pah-lease, why do they do this to people?
And what you really came here for:
The Points:
Teri: 10
Jayhawk: 5
MGoody: 10
AJ: 8
NanaT: 15 (bottom 3 and go home correct...nice job)
Blueroserider: 15 (again...all right for tonight)
Krisverted: 10
Paco's Wife: 10
Paco's daughter: 5
Paco's daughter's friend: 10
Paco's son: 10
Paco: 20 (seriously...2 of 3 in bottom, scott going home AND Scott on pre-vote...that's 2 weeks in a row....someone needs to catch up...Paco is running away with this thing)
Jo-dan: 10
Broncofan: 5
Mrs. Juan: no votes (she is getting married in a few weeks so I guess if AI isn't her priority that's okay)
Sho: no votes...where have you been
Blakey: no votes...guess if you aren't in the top of the running you don't want to play????
Check the right side to see where you stand. Congrats to Nana T and Bluerose for spot on guessing tonight...so many of us were SO close. And an even bigger congrats to Paco...you are killing us all!!!!

Thanks, TT, for your efforts in calculating this whole thing. I went to bed late and you hadn't yet responded, so I know you were up late. Hopefully you were able to sleep in a little this am (and that Dallin cooperated by sleeping in also). Sounds like you're having a wonderful time in CA, although when they showed Sacramento on the news this morning it looked very dark and cloudy. Yea, about last night and the judges' dilemma about whether to send Scott home - what a joke. Poor guy was hanging onto the hope that he wouldn't be sent home, that the judges, in their great wisdom, would SAVE him, but you know that wasn't going to happen. They are saving their one and only SAVE vote for dear little Adam in case America suddenly decides that he isn't the greatest on the show and votes him off. Well, we'll see what happens this next week. In the meantime, have a great trip, what remains, and a safe trip home.
Love, Nana T
I think the judges would save Alison, Adam, or Danny...because they are obsessed with all three of them. However, if you look back at the people they had wanted to save previously, Jennifer Hudson is the only one who got voted off BEFORE the top 5...so that makes the save a little worthless, don't you think? I mean, they would have saved Chris Daughtry, but he was in the top 4 (so that wouldn't have worked...), and who else did they love? Tamyra Gray and Kimberly Locke? Top 4 and top 3? They couldn't have saved any of them! So it is kind of pointless...but I am still glad they have it in case Alison gets voted off next week...
