Can you hardly stand it...it's time for "cycle 12"

I have a lot of "feelings" towards Tyra...I can't quite figure out who she thinks she is...besides completely full of herself. But alas, I do enjoy watching anything to do with fashion and modeling...a world I almost thought would be fun to be in (when I was 17)...but then I realized I enjoyed eating. Of course there is always "plus size" modeling. But I learned last night that there is a plus size model (size 12 I believe)...then there is the skinny model...then those in between...who I guess we just get to call fat....nice.

But these girls (except for one) are of the "skinny model" type. Now...most reality shows where people are trying to win the show by way of there skills...they have accomplished that skill before. Like on Top Chef...they don't just gather people and then see if they can cook. Or Project runway...hey you...why don't you try putting these 2 pieces of fabric together with that machine over there...NO...these people are great at what they do...and we want to see who is the best. So I would think that on Top Model....we would have a bunch of models and then find that one that is the "top"...so it amazes me that most of these girls have never "walked a runway" let alone done a photo shoot....what the crap? What's even worse...is they know they are going to be on the show...and they don't practice...or study real runway models...I don't get it. I will even admit "walking the runway" a few times in my teenage years....you know, just in case I was "discovered".

So here we have a large group of girls...some are beautiful...and some, well....not so much. Then you have the attitude..the drama...the "j's" and I guess you have a good show. As we start with our 36...to then be narrowed to 21...and then to our top 13...we get to see the craziness that is out there in this world...here are a few of my favorites:

The conspiracy theory girl....who the crap is she....Monique...and her walk is BAD!
Alex...the girl with all that attitude and trash talk...in the ruffly shirt...that's funny!
Girl that slept in the port authority...her nails are yuck!
Celia...I think she is pretty...I like her eyes..but at "25" girl you are old!
Creepy eyes...not pretty....just creepy...and her hair is bad...she is weird!!!

Alright...first cut down...let's get this party moving...Hey they all made it through to the top 21...and then Tyra so cleverly reminds us that they cut to 21 'cause they are in Vegas...get it "21"..."vegas"...man who produces such good tv????

Now we will have the girls all become "goddesses" and pose...and then cut again...so Here are your top 13 that will be moving to NY to live in a swanky pad and then amuse us with their drama and bad modeling:

Their first task is to walk the runway...it was completely horrible...the only highlight was Sandra walking halfway down the runway...stopping and going back...then she told the judges she thought she went to the right spot to turn around...Ummm, Sandra...what do you think the rest of the runway is for?

On to their their first photo shoot...one of Tyra's passions is the young girls of America...oh Tyra...thank you for caring so much. So to show this passion...she has the girls dress as "little girls" playing "children's favorite" playground games. You know...tag, london bridges, hop scotch. Of course you can't play these games alone...so you can play with 3 "extras" dressed as girls that have grown up too fast, including a pregnant girl that is drinking. Nice.

And then we have our first judges table. My favorite part of this is where they trash what the girls are wearing and have them take things off...hello...you didn't pick models to be on your show...so how are they supposed to know how to dress. Besides...have you seen what real models where when they are just out and about...not pretty.

Well...sadly...one of our girls had to leave us tonight...and the loser is: Kerrington...Oops, I mean Isabella.  I'm kinda bummed 'cause I liked her.  With her in the bottom 2 was drama queen Sandra...hopefully she will go soon!

Next week is makeover week...and even if you don't like the show...that is an episode not to be missed!
