Let the games begin!

the rules:

1. The pre-vote (must be completed by Tuesday, March 10th by 7pm...no exceptions)--go to "comments" (directions at the bottom) and make a list "week 1 down to week 12"...next to each "week" write who you think will be voted off each week. Week 1 takes place this Tuesday, March 10th and week 12 takes place May 26th with our final 2 singers.  

For example:

Week 1: Lil Rounds

Week 2: Scott

etc...

Week 12: Michael (winner: Anoop)

2. Each Tuesday come back to the blog and post a "comment" with who you believe will be in the bottom 3 that week...based on the performances that week...and then which contestant of those three will actually be kicked off.  All weekly votes must be submitted before the Wednesday show at 7pm (UT time). 

For example:

Bottom 3: Lil, Scott and Michael---Going home: Michael

***feel free to leave any additional comments about the actual singing, songs, guests, and or judging...you know I will!

3. The week of the finale...after Tuesday's show: you will just leave a comment with who you think will win...

4. Donate $1 (you can bring it to the party) if you are participating in the game, to go towards prizes that will be awarded at the finale party (tentatively set for Wednesday, May 27th...mark your calendars...no excuses).

the points:

1. 10 points are awarded for each correct choice you make in your pre-vote.  (if you said that Michael is going home week 1 and he does...you get 10 points).

2. 10 points are awarded for the correct bottom 3 out of 3 list...5 points if you have 2 out of 3...and 3 points if you have 1 out of 3 correct.

3.  5 points are awarded for the correct person you said is going home in your weekly vote.

4.  Finale week points: 20 points are awarded for pre-picking who will win it all.  10 points are awarded for picking who will win (during the weekly vote).

There are lots of points possible each week...so never count yourself out!

Points will be totaled each Wednesday night and posted in the right column of the blog.

How to leave a comment: Click on the word "comment" at the bottom of the post.  A little pop-up window will appear.  Write your votes, notes, etc. in the big box....WRITE YOUR NAME after your comment.  scroll down to "choose an identity".  If you have a blog...do what you do...If you don't have a blog...click the dot next to anonymous and then click "publish your comment".  Give it a minute..sometimes it takes a sec for it to post.  Then close the little box and you should be good!  If you have problems...email me at terilt@gmail.com

**A few random things...these rules are set up the best we can based on previous seasons and how the show is supposed to run.  Sometimes AI throws kinks in the game...by not having a bottom 3...or not sending anyone home...maybe this year they will even send 2 home in one week...who knows...so bare with us as we keep track of points...if things go crazy with the production of it all!  We will try to be as fair as possible!~
