Very interesting...

So...after reading AJ's post, I couldn't help but wonder.... Where can I get a Capuchin monkey? Will it REALLY help me overcome these empty nest (or never filled nest) feelings? What I discovered was both intriguing and disturbing. First off...this information is on ABC Primetime...NOT Dateline NBC...AJ, I need accurate info if I'm going to do accurate research. Second, these people SHOWER with their monkeys...I find that very disturbing. I don't like my pets to see me "down there"...it just creeps me out. Another issue is that these monkeys apparently often turn on their owners...just like teenagers. Interesting. It also sounds like some of the monkeys act out similar to foster children who are experiencing PTSD or Reactive Attachment Disorder. The monkeys who are acting out are all purchased on the Internet...or, what I like to call, the Black Market of Human Trafficking. However, I think the real crime is putting clothes on monkeys. If they are going to try and make this work, they need to set up some sort of Monkey Adoption Service.... My answer to this growing problem is a cabbage patch doll. Not only can you find a doll that looks like you (I think this doll is a perfect combination of Dan and I...cute little round cheeks, adorable golfing outfit and, if you look closely, you can see he has sprinkles on his face...Dan and I like sprinkles!), but he won't ruin your house, and you can find lots of cute outfits to put on him...and if you carry him around with you wherever you go, people won't think you are any crazier than the nuts with the monkeys...Win Win!

On a different note, we are watching Celebrity Family Feud...I LOVE Family Feud and Al Rocher...so this show is great. I call out my responses and am annoyed when they don't say what I say...as if my guesses are the most obvious choices! But we have not yet watched the Japanese Game Show or Wipeout...possibly because Tuesday nights I typically work until at least 8:00pm, so when I'm finally home for the night, we only have enough time for one or two shows...and usually we are making up for the previous evenings. Last nights episode has Dogg the Bountyhunter and the Girls Next Door...now THAT is ENTERTAINMENT!!!!!

Now, it is time for me to share my opinions about Hell's Kitchen. First off, I love and hate how they are doing the finale this year. I HATE how they are splitting the finale between two weeks, but I LOVE the flashback of the season...I usually fast forward through these, since I am a dedicated TV watcher and rarely miss an episode of anything that I care about, but this time I decided to watch, and I'm so glad I did! Even though I watched all the episodes, I felt like this review of the season gave me insights that I totally missed. I had enjoyed Christina for most of the season, but after the review...I hate her. She is so cocky and stuck on herself. Then, in the actual finale, she goes mega-cocky and states that she has this competition "in the bag".... She is such a brat! Petroza is the nicest guy...yes, he is a slob in the kitchen...and yes, his food is often a little weird (hen in a pumpkin...REALLY!!!), but he has been the most consistent of all the contestants during service...and he was great at the pass. I don't know if Gordo will actually pick Petroza, but I will be rooting for him during the actual finale next week. Go Petroza!!!!

Jo-Dan, you really need to watch Wipeout. Something about the large bouncy balls always make me laugh, even when I say it won't.

So sorry about the ABC/NBC mix up. As you can tell, I was still quite upset about the show. You should have seen it. It was creepy! And you can find magazines and internet sites devoted to these "monkids" as they are called. It is gross.

I am glad you caught Dogg and The girls next door. I have a question...Is Kendra Anorexic? Seriously, she just dropped all this weight and doesn't look healthy. And I like Beth the most of the bounty hunters. How did she get mixed up with Dawg? (But I don't love Al Roker. Sorry)

I don't think Christina is cocky. She is driven. But I do love Petrozza, but I wonder if he has what it takes to yell at someone who is screwing up??? And every season so far has had a split episode for the finale. It would be 2 hours but due to FOX having early news, that's just the way it is. I promise.

Nice to read from you. Missed you at "lunch" today. Ummm.
