Will & Jessica-Jive: There really harsh on Jessica...which I guess goes along with everyone's opinions that Jessica is literally riding Will's coattails. Not my fav...whatever, you all know how I feel about the ballroom stuff.
Comfort & Thayne-Broadway: I was kinda bored...whatever...next
Kourtni & Matt: Hip Hop: Hey Gangily white kids...go home...thanks for ruining my fav dance style.
Chelsea & Mark: (can we just call all Mandy Moore routines "80s"). I really like this partnership a lot....go team!
Twitchington: Pasawhatever: Where's the bull? Did she have to sneer at him at the end? Okay...I'm sure they did really good...and they won't be in the bottom.
Josh & Katee-contemp: yea...Mia's back...I love Mia's routines!!!!! And I love these 2!!! Sorry, I really hate to say this, but Katee is growing on me....and of course Josh is the BEST!!!!
Gev & Courtney- Hip Hop..I'm not sure how I feel about the choreography of those 2 chicks...court did great! I do like them too!
Take 2
Jessica & Will: Lyrical Jazz: Like I said 80s....:) Hmmmm...lingerie wearing his shirt.... Good...I liked it!!!
Thayne and Comfort-Smooth waltz: I'm not gonna comment...'cause you all know how I feel. Although...funny that Tabitha mentioned phony...does that have anything to do with his big cheesy grin....? Drives me crazy!
BigKatt-Mamba bo?: Just seemed awkward and slow and painful and....I didn't like it.
Cheslea & Mark-Foxtrot-I liked them...mostly because I like them...they did good, in my amateur opinion.
Twichington-contemp: hmmm....I would like to see all the black men shirtless, oh wait, we did. And really, where was Kherrington in all this? Pretty cool little stunts on the bed! I liked it...I think I am just not a Kherrington fan...
Josh & Katee-West Coast Swing: I am sooooo angry...I had to watch this one musicless because of a storm warning in WA... Looked good?
Gev & Courtney-Broadway: Does anyone else think that Gev actually dances better in a genre other then hip hop! Interesting...
So I don't feel like I really gave good critiques over this show...I just wasn't LOVING a lot of the routines...my top favs: Chelsea and Mark #1, Josh and Katee
Leave your votes in the comments section (bottom 3 teams and one boy one girl to leave)...Jo-dan will tally the votes!!!!

I tried to be brief, I CAN”T DO IT! My votes are at the bottom, ignore all of mumbling and skip to the end if you want, I won’t mind.
Wow, what an interesting show. The double dance element really added a bigger twist than it sometimes does. I don’t think any couple was super strong on both of their numbers.
Before I try to condense pages of notes into a readable post, the most important observation…. Who dressed our beautiful host as a techno penguin from the 1940’s?
If she isn’t pregnant she needs to shoot her stylist.
Jessica and Will: Jive, still don’t like Jessica at all, pretty harsh that the judges told her what I’ve been thinking all along that once she isn’t Will’s partner anymore she’s going to have trouble. In the Jive she was trying to pretend to be a dancer still. She was off balance and had very poor partnering…there is a tricky balance between offering enough resistance in dance position, if you don’t offer enough you have to be thrown around, if you offer too much you look pushy as a girl and heavy. She did both extremes, and sometimes accidentally was ok. It proves how good he is that he looks so good and takes such good care of her.
Their lyrical jazz was very nice. She let go and danced for the first time in this competition. I was afraid the prop was being used again to hide a poor dancer, but it was nice. Her lifts were graceful and elegant. By far the best they’ve done as a couple.
Comfort and Thayne: I was expecting that they would hate each other since she is much more of a man than he is… but they partnered well. If they had started off together… they would’ve had a better chance.
Broadway: I didn’t hate it, she has weird shoulders, I was surprised to not be more bothered by them.
Waltz: Again, for them, a week or two ago, great. I was very impressed with her control in the lifts. I love the story line of the rough hip hop girl finding her beauty… old ladies everywhere are smiling.
Kourtni and Matt: It’s just not a powerful partnership.
Hip Hop: I didn’t hate it. I keep finding in my notes “believable” and “not believable” here and there. They just weren’t believable in the hip-hop, but I liked the soft choreography, cool hat.
Mambo: Again, fine, not horrible. I have 40 kids starting on team in a month and a half. I will line them up by height to start partnering them up at the beginning of the year until I know them and their dancing…. Nigel hit it on the head, If I drew a line down the middle, the shorter couples will stay mainly Latin and the taller half will stay predominantly standard, with a few exceptional couples crossing over. Latin dances are not designed for people built like Matt, but dang I’d love to get him on a standard team, he is made for it.
Chelsie and Mark: I was so ready for a good number it didn’t take much to impress me.
Jazz: I actually hated the costumes, music, and choreography. It was so 80’s. But they were BELIEVABLE. The second the camera hit them they were performing and selling it. SO it worked.
Foxtrot: Perfectly danced, but it wasn’t a very exciting number, and I love the Foxtrot. It was too much dress for someone her height, especially with all the feathers up around her face and shoulders where you typically want clean lines.
Kherinton and Twitch: I’ve been lukewarm about them for a while now, Kherrington is just like Jessica, she is going to be in trouble once partnerships are mixed up.
Paso: Not to sound sanctimonious, but I hated that they messed with the story behind the Paso Doble. It is supposed to be the ONE dance about the guy, and they made them both matadors? I hated that. (Still love Tony and Melanie) I wonder if it was because Twitch wasn’t stepping up, he was only ok, and she was just too butch, didn’t like it. The first lift was awkward and they never came back for me.
Bed time Trampoline number: Very nice, but can someone put a shirt on him or I’m never taking mine off again, is that all real? Swoon away ladies.
I bought into it, believable. I think the clever use of props and staging gave them a huge edge. Kherington got to hide behind a bed, so she looked great. Sorry, but anyone can throw stuff and look neat. So, as a dance competition, who knows… as a number, I really liked it and it will get votes.
Katee and Josh: Katee has been hit or miss for me.
Contemporary: Damn! I had to rewind and watch twice. I could go on forever, great contrast between moves with long lines down to a perfectly pointed foot, right next to a huge flexed foot, or great carriage right next to a collapsed body… loved it. Katee blew me away. Again, it was in their eyes before they made a move.
West Coast Swing: The west coast is always one of every dancer’s favorite dances to dance. It just is fun to do. It is all about slinky rubber band, push and pull, give and take flirtation. That was missing, and she had bright pink fringe in all the wrong places. Hated it.
Courtney and Gev: I love this couple… but tonight wasn’t so hot
Hip Hop: I am so very neon white, can’t hip hop to save my life, so I was impressed, but I wanted more of something. Not sure what
Broadway: I liked it, it was a little cutesy for me. Gev is a great actor. I think It won’t be as memorable as other numbers tonight.
So, time to stop blabbering on and on and on and make some choice.
Chelsie and Mark are lucky, but they have to do better to win it like I think they can.
Katee and Josh, even though the west coast was pitiful, the contemporary gave me chills, they’re more than safe.
Jessica and Will, saved by the second number.
Kherrington and Twitch saved by her hiding and throwing flowers.
Bottom THREE!
Kourtne and Matt, we will all vote for them, we will all be right.
Comfort and Thayne: Not a surprising choice, just a little too late to be doing ok. The old ladies who are smiling that she took out her piercing might prove me wrong.
The third choice is always the tricky one. I didn’t hate Courtney and Gev, but both neither number was Awesome! So I think they’ll be in the bottom three, but not go anywhere yet.
Who oh who is leaving. I’m torn between Comfort and big tall Kourtnee, however you spell her name. Nigel said it, they can’t keep passing Comfort just because she comes from the street, but bigkat looks so labored, and Comfort looked pretty… crap I don’t know.
For guys, I like Matt, but they rip him up every week. But Thayne has already sent one partner packing, I don’t know if the judges will give him a third… Thayne can’t dance with bigkat, his spine will snap….. double crapity crap.
I think they get rid of the entire couple Kourtnee and Matt and give Thayne and Comfort one more shot…. I'm so not scoring high this week...
BigKat
Comfort & Thayne
Gev & Courtney
Kourtni (bigkat)
Matt
Okay, so I practically copied Dallin and I didn't even watch the show. I guess I'm not in this to win this...
you did copy me however, hopefully we're both right.
Ok...this is a very delayed vote, but I've finally finished the show. My bottom three are:
Kourtni and Matt
Thayne and Comfort
And I'm going to go out on a limb with...Katee and Josh
Kourtni and Thayne going home...we'll see...I'm not expecting many points, but I still dislike Katee sooooo much!
