I had the pleasure of viewing tonight's 100th episode with my gallies (and a few other invited guests) and it was such a good time (thanks K for letting us invade your home)...and the votes are in...Katie Holmes' "dance" number (and lip sync) was TERRIBLE...
I was not that impressed with the show as a whole...I was excited my picks Melissa, Jeanine, Ade and Evan were all SAFE (okay, so Randi was my 4th pick before we saw them all really dance...but Jeanine has been my favorite since week 2)...anyway...the reason why I wasn't sooo impressed with the 1ooth show...because the dances they did (although amazing) were not MY favorites...I would have rather seen one with Sabra or Josh...but that's just me...Anyway, on to who went home.
Our bottom this week:
Janette and Kayla (woot, woot...points for me)
Jason and Brandon (woot, woot...no so much the points but for Brandon to eat a little humble pie)
And those leaving us: Janette and Jason. Okay, now here is where I am a little upset. You are all aware of how much I am NOT a fan of Janette. I haven't been since her initial performance...yes, I hear you all...she is a great dancer, some say "flawless"...but I just don't like her. Now, the show is to find "America's favorite dancer" and if Janette gets the boot, it is because she isn't America's favorite. We have all learned by now that if you want your favs to stay you vote...so if someone gets the boot, it's because people don't want them on the show any more. I am sick of people saying the "it is a shock" when someone they like gets sent home. First of all...I'm sorry you are shocked that your opinion differs from the rest of America...and secondly, how is that supposed to make the other person feel that was kept...you don't like them and want them to leave. I just think they should have the same reaction when every person goes home...that's all I'm saying.

I agree, TT. Katie's "dance" was a letdown (I fast forwarded through most all of it), and I would have thought one of Joshua's amazing dances would have been appropriate to show inasmuch as he won last year (or the dance with the door - I don't remember the couple's names). I really enjoyed Hawk's dance - it was as wonderful as the first time! Although the group number at the beginning was well done, I would rather have seen a couple of dances from the past performed. Well, we'll see what happens next week - top 6 (Wow, already). They did say the new season would start in Sept., so that's really soon!!!! Terrific!!
