Dance....week 3....the dancing!

Guest judge tonight...Tony Basil....and she is getting some lifetime of Hip Hop award?! I then she went on about something...whatever...

***I have started to make opinions about the dancers...sometimes their personalities kill all their dancing abilities...for me at least.

Karla & Jonathon: Hip Hop by Dave Scott...oh he cracks me up! She is fully out dancing him. that kick back flip he did was cool....but she is still way better...and they aren't totally together. Yeah...she was sooo much better.  Totally agree with the lack of chemistry...and the lack of togetherness. What up with Nigel tonight...good grief?! It's too bad the judges are putting them down so hard.  I really thought Karla looked great doing it...Jonathon not so much.  Hey Tony, the Kentucky Derby called and they want their hat back!

Asuka & Vitolio: Jazz with Mandy Moore...I love that Mandy Moore is so totally 80s (don't fail me tonight). "Thrash.Rocker.Jazz". Pat Benatar...yeah baby! Asuka's outfit looks itchy.  Their lifts are cool, but overall they didn't seem "Thrash.Rocker" enough for that song...and their was one part where they were totally not together.  I'm not sure what Nigel was watching...I didn't like it...but I don't really like them.

Melissa & Ade: Rumba by Tony Meredeth (I miss his red head partner...she was on what not to wear a few years ago). Please be good...please be good!  (love this song).  Can I have Melissa's body...ridiculous!  I thought that was awesome! That was such a corny pun Mr. Lithgo.  "What a difference 'ade' makes"...tee hee! So glad that the judges loved them too! Melanie, that was the red-head's name!

another Dave Scott...but with my least fav couple: Janette & Brandon...they both totally bug me! Janette's hair is so bad! "rock and roll meet hip hop". Does anyone like them?  Awesome choreography Dave...I wish it was a different couple that did this routine so I could like it even more.  What is it with the "rocker" thing and sticking out your tongue...stop it already.  So it was a really great routine...but doesn't make me like them anymore!

Kayla & Kupono: Viennese waltz with Jean Marc...(I love this song too)...very pretty...she is a beautiful dancer...I could care less about him.  This probably would have been even better with Max. No Mary...not the hot tamale train...just pretty!

And now my other fav couple...Randi & Evan: Hurray...Mia and contemporary! Please do good! I loved it...I thought it was quirky and cute!  They dance so well together..I really just like them! And again...so glad the judges are loving it too...even if Nigel is being overly corny tonight! Amen Toni...I would be begging to dance a Mia Michaels as well!

Caitlin & Jason...(I do not love them...well, he's fine, but I don't like her so much...their hip hop last week was BAD). Pasa Doble...Jean Marc. Did they ask the cameraman to move around a lot so it was hard to watch...and the lights were buggin' my eyes.  I don't think it was that good...I'm interested to hear the judges.  hmmm...guess they liked it...

Jeannine & Philip (kinda forgot about them...and I really like them): Broadway with Tyce...uh.oh...please don't mess this up! I don't always like the broadway routines on this show...but I really liked this a lot...and that couch jump was awesome! At least Philip had underpants on:) 

Alright...that's your show...overall, not the best night.  The only dances that really stood out to me were Melissa/Ade, Randi/Evan, and Janette and Brandon's was cool...but I don't like them.
