Cry me a "Rivers"

I no longer have much respect for Annie Duke...I think she is totally 2-faced and mean.  She is very full of herself and, in her opinion, the only one that is good at anything! Melissa River's description of her is spot on.  I don't really like Melissa all that much...however, Annie and Brande could be a little less obvious about their disdain towards her.

I read this on a celebrity apprentice blog...

"Anne is from the dark side of our world. A lot is going on behind the scenes and her "sweet smile" regarding money, control, paybacks, IOU's, threats, snake-like activities and behavior. Anyone who does not back Anne better watch out for retribution from the underground. Donald, if you fire Anne, you'll have to watch your back more than you ever dreamed. Don't get me wrong. I DON'T want her to win! However,by having her participate, you have gotten this show into the wrong hands by allowing her to manipulate and control events which will ultimately control you and your demise.Mark my words. A year from now you will rue the day you even contemplated having Anne be a part of this show."

Kinda interesting!

It was totally Annie's fault that her team lost last night.  The entire Ad was her idea (and I thought it sucked) and she also did the presentation...so if they lost it should fall on her.  If not her...then Brande, who gave her all the responsibility and allowed for her to run the show.  Melissa did just what she was asked (not really anything)...but she did it!  I don't think Melissa should have gone much farther...but last night was not her turn!  I was irritated, because I feel Donald wouldn't fire Annie or Brande because they have brought in more money...hello Donald, this task wasn't about raising the money!

Oh well, Melissa is gone and man did she go out in a big way.

She was beyond upset, and probably rightfully so, and showed everyone how mad she was. I loved how she informed the producer, on camera, that she wouldn't be doing an interview. I think it was a bit much and a bit too pouty pants...but whatever! Even her mom stormed out with her...c'mon Joan...I actually like you...come back and win it for you daughter if you want...just come back.

The winning team....Clint, Jesse and Joan...that drama is a whole other story!  I can't stand Clint...but I wasn't real impressed with Jesse and the bashing and name calling he got in to. Jesse is very talented and good at what he does...I think that Clint did try to incorporate Jesse's idea...unfortunately, Clint wanted to add too much!  I didn't like the direction Clint went...I hated the fire orange whatever that was...but I did like the striping on the side. I do think that the execs made the right choice...but it was way too busy.  Anyway...my main problem with this team last night...is that Jesse didn't really express his opinion.  Maybe it was just editing...but whenever he was asked a question, he never really answered.  He expressed himself well to the camera...I wish he had done that to Clint.  By the time he finally told Clint he hated it...it really was too late, and he expressed himself like a 13 year-old.  I think if Jesse had spoke up sooner with his thoughts...more then "do my idea"...their ad would have been great...!  Anyway, doesn't matter...they won and were all safe!

I do think that Jesse is pretty hilarious! His comments about Joan in the board room..and then laughing 'cause he really does like her.  It's funny to me how serious he always is...totally an act!  When the 3 were watching the girls in the board room and Joan said, (in regards to Brande) "both her boobs can count to 10".  Jesse was busting up...but covering his mouth and trying to hide it!  I would love to see Jesse off camera...I bet he is a hoot!

My thoughts for next week...hopefully Joan will come back...hopefully Clint will get fired...and I'm sure that we will definitely see Annie stab someone else in the back to improve her standing...she is conniving!

Thanks, TT, for the great write-up. I couldn't have said it better. I don't particularly care for Melissa, but no way should she have been fired. In fact, after the show I called Don because I know he watches the show (he was relieved that Melissa was fired - too much drama), but Melissa was definitely the pawn (she called it early in the challenge). I think Donald wants Annie in the finals, and the blond should have gone a long time ago (she continually flys just under the radar so as not to draw attention to the fact that she never really does anything significant). So, even if Annie wasn't to be fired, Brande should have been. I truly think Melissa acted inappropriately at the end, though, and that she'll regret acting like a two-year old throwing a tantrum. And yes, I hope Joan comes back so she can stay in the game and Clint get fired. I couldn't believe how Jesse came unglued with Clint (and Clint was actually being civil and accommodating to Jesse's suggestions). Well, the drama continues (hopefully with Joan on board).
