American Idol ALWAYS runs long...is any one really shocked by this...and sure, I also blame the girls, particularly Kara...maybe we should just boot her and then this wouldn't be a problem!
Topic...songs of the cinema...and let's talk about Quentin...did anyone see the CSI finale a few years back when Nick gets buried alive in a coffin underground??? Quentin directed that...and it was the best CSI ever...yep, I cried! I remember when he was a guest judge before...loved the weird guy then...sure I will love him tonight...

Allison: "I don't want to miss a thing"...awesome! Getting chills during her practice..please do good! I love Steven Tyler...I love Aerosmith...I love their arrangement...I didn't love her arrangement...I just wish she could sing the whole song! She is fantastic though...I love that voice! The girls only hope...I agree Simon...Lil is on her way out...she may be the only girl left real soon! Thanks Simon for the positive feedback!
Anoop: "Everything I do...." I love Quentin giving advice on singing...cracks me up! Wow...now this sounds like the Anoop we heard in Hollywood...very clear beautiful voice! I REALLY thought he did a good job! 2 weeks in a row...nice going buddy! I hate to say it...but I agree with Kara tonight (not as cheesy as she is)...but agreed!
Adam: "Born to be wild"...oh..he's going to do something CRAZY...or creepy in my opinion...but whatever. Do you all remember Constantine (of course you do)...do you remember the creepy faces he made...trying to look "sexy"...but it was fully creepy...that's how Adam is to me...Adam is my Constantine...and it's not a good thing. Why does he always do that screechy thing in every song? And why is he doing the Molly Ringwald? Oh I hate the craze about this guy!
Matt: "Have you ever really loved a woman"...pretty perfect for him...I think. I love this song! He looks extra nervous tonight...hmmm. I actually liked it better during the practice when it was just him and the piano...his voice is sounding rough and cracky...and oops, not a good note! Sorry Matt...wasn't a big fan of this performance. Simon is totally mocking Kara...while she is talking awesome...I think sometimes he forgets he is on camera.
Danny: "Endless love"...Sorry is he going without glasses so we can see the emotion in his eyes? (teehee).Nice Crocket jacket. I don't think this was one of his better performances...I am not a huge fan of his...but I really didn't think it was that great! What did Paula just say about wowing and slaying? I agree with Simon and disappointed...that's what it was...just bored!
Kris: "Falling slowly". I'm glad Quentin likes him...'cause I do. LOVED IT...LOVE HIM...GA-RATE!!!! Annoyed with her...but totally agree with Kara...
Lil:"The Rose"...is Bette one of the singers you don't touch?...I love Bette! Lil has not had one week of positive comments from the judges...wonder what they will think tonight. She just jumped into her robe in the front of the church. And she is getting emotional...will that keep her safe? I like Bette's bigger voice on this song! Simon totally just rolled his eyes at Paula...and I totally agree with his comments.
And even with 2 judges speaking after each singer...they still ran long and I didn't get to see the end of the "discussion" between Simon and Lil...dang it! Oh well!

Okay-who bought Paula a book of inspirational quotes? How annoying. She didn't critique, she just said quotes all night. If they want the night to go faster then just let Simon...maybe Randy reply. That's all I care to hear anyway.

I think Matt will go home. He is too forgetable.when I try to remember who is left on the show I always forget Matt and Kris. But Kris has more likeability. Or is that good looks?
I also think Lil will go home, but in an attempt to pick ONE I will stick with Matt.
Disclaimer: I am voting without complete information. Blakey mocked me for watching the performances during work time. yes, it's true. So now I feel guilty and ended up just watching the little blurbs.
I love that little Kris. And I loved that movie, so maybe I was swayed. I watched his whole performance before Church Lady Blakey mocked me.

In case anyone is interested, I just checked out YouTube (no, TT, I was not watching David A videos, at least not today - haha), and if you want to see an amazing singer, search Susan Boyle (Britain's Got Talent). You will love hearing her sing "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Mis. The judges are absolutely shocked to hear her beautiful voice. How fun! Now, on to AI. I agree with TT, Adam is still wierd (he acts like he knows he's going to win and he continues to make creepy looks like he thinks he's sexy), Lil certainly isn't performing like she did at the auditions/Hollywood, and Anoop sang beautifully (I really think he was my favorite from the entire evening, although I do love Kris!) So, who's going home (do we base our opinion on how they did last night or their overall performances or how we think America will vote?). Well, hopefully America will vote Lil, Matt, and Allison in the bottom 3 with Lil going home.
