Von Smith: I can't stand the guy. That's all I really want to say. Funny how Simon said he reminded him of Clay and Simon wasn't sure if Von would take that as a compliment or not...does anyone else remember how much Simon couldn't stand to watch Clay sing??? Just wondering!
Taylor V: I love Alicia Keyes...you may all already be aware...and often she falls in the "don't touch her songs" category (at least in my book)...I can't decide if Taylor is doing well or not. Plus, is she wearing leather boots and leather leggings??? I feel like some notes are good and some...not so much! Really Kara...what the crap...this isn't America's best shopper...Amen Simon...to the shopping confusion and your evaluation.
Alex W-T: His hair is bad! Oh...Elton huh? When does the consultation on clothing start...'cause this boy needs help! What the crap is he doing to this song...what is that yelly screechy thing? Don't like this at all! When you finish your song and all the judges are laughing...it's not good!
Arianna: Oh, I think I remember liking her in her initial audition. ABBA...I love them! I love when I just sit and listen...and don't type. Wow...Simon really hated it! I actually didn't hate it. I felt it was a very interesting arrangement....hmmm...I guess I am done with my comments on her.
Ju'not: Okay...that kid is too cute (the baby not the man...though he ain't ugly)! And by the way...his name isn't Juno...it's "do you know"...said real fast and with a southern twang:) I love a black man singing a white boys song while he has handcuffs hanging from his jeans! Okay....I REALLY like him...like his "vibe" his voice and the fact that he didn't pick a stereotypical R&B song.
Oh dear heaven...Nathaniel...and Kristen. Let's start with Kristen (if we have too). Tracy Chapman has such a unique voice...this should be interesting. Okay...I don't want this to sound mean...but I think she has put on some serious weight...wasn't she really skinny before. And her hair looks like a barbie wig...I hope America leaves her out...'cause I think she played the martyr in that whole group thing. I'm kinda over her...not a terrible performance...but a few screechy parts.
And now Nathaniel...doing meatloaf...wierd: Does he wear a head band everyday? I get a headache after a couple hours. Oh watch out...he's getting down! Is he doing the deacon 2-step with the teacher finger snap? I'm kinda bored...he doesn't have a strong enough voice to sing Meatloaf. Do you know what he reminds me of...a jazzercise video...with the slow warm up--then the aerobic bit...the cool down...and then a little pump at the end...hair and headband included! Why the judges always stealing my thoughts..."keep fit" video (teehee). Grandma said, "she's used to Nathan's music"...is that a positive thing or not...
Felicia...who is part of this 'cause that other gal got cut (the one who already put out a record)...Another Alicia K...I really like her...she screamed a bit at times...but I still like her voice. I would like to see her in the top 12...
Scott: Oh, I like this song. Scott has a great voice...but I didn't think this was his best performance. I felt like there were some rough spots...but he is a nice kid. It will be interesting to see what America does.
Kendall: Martina...that should fit her...let's see: Okay...I was liking her at the beginning...then she hit chorus and ouch...maybe not so great. She is really cute..and I love her dress...but it's getting rougher as she goes. Hey...she's Kelli Pickler.
Jorge: I don't really have an opinion on him...good voice...but I don't love him!
Lil: I LOVE LOVE LOVE Mary J...she is like #1 on my list of female singers...If your voice ain't strong you best back off Mary. She did just fine! But sounded just like Mary J...well...close...so i agree with Simon...find your own voice..but VERY good!
Okay...my pics for tonight: hmmmm...this is hard...Okay....Ju'not, Scott, Lil and Felicia. I know that is 4...but I can't narrow it down. We already have 4 boys and 2 girls...So I would prefer it be the 2 gals and Ju'not...but Scott may get a lot votes.
