Seriously, someone needs to write about Dancing With the Stars. I am not sure who is watching this season, but with the various people on the show, how can you not watch?
First the stars:
“Our favorite local girl” Julianne Hough is dancing with her real-life boyfriend.
Julianne’s brother, and last season’s winner, Derek Hough is dancing again this year. His partner is Lil’ Kim, but don’t hold that against him.
Lacie Schwimmer, “the bad girl of the ballroom” is back…and her partner is STEVE O, of Jackass fame.
As if those professionals were not enough to cheer for, they’ve added another local girl (from Orem): Chelsie Hightower, from last season’s So You Think You Can Dance.
Among the “stars” dancing this season:
Belinda Carlisle…of the GoGos…is strutting out.
Shawn Johnson, 17 years old and an Olympic Gold Medalist, is showing strong in the first episodes.
Holly Madison, Hugh Heffiner's Ex-girlfriend is showing she really is all looks.
Jewel and her husband, rodeo star Ty Murry , were both to dance, but someone damaged the family Jewel and so Mr. Murry is dancing alone.
But in Jewel’s spot is jilted Bachelorette Melissa Rycroft. She didn’t need stinky Bachelor Jason anyway, apparently.
There’s also “Denise Richards: It’s Complicated”. I only threw that one out there for Joel McHale, and my SOUP friends.

Thank you for writing about it...I want to watch...but D fills up the DVR on Monday nights with a whole lot of shows...maybe I will start recording on the upstairs TIVO...I LOVE Chelsie Hightower and didn't know she was on...hurray for her. Also...you all know I love Lacey...although Steve-O really? I watched the highlights at the end of last night's show and will probably watch to see who gets kicked off tonight...I will be rooting for Melissa, of course, 'cause I love her...but I will let you take the reins on the blogging about it!
Yes, I've been watching (although tonight it took second place to Biggest Looser - of course I'm taping American Idol so I can fast-forward through the commercials). Dancing will be fun with Chelsie, Shawn, and Melissa (and I must admit, she's doing a really good job - and I'm sure she's not looking back to Jason since getting her boyfriend (Ty) back and having the "Dancing" gig). Guess there's just too many shows to watch on Tuesday night.
