It was brought to my attention today that the next season of AI will welcome a new judge to the panel...if you don't believe me, click here. Her name is Kara DioGuardi...ever heard of her? Me neither. Apparently she is a grammy-nominated songwriter who has written hits for such artists as Kelly Clarkson, Pink, Gwen Stefani, and many more. Still, I would have preferred someone that America knows...like Brittany. But this is what we got, so let's all welcome Kara to our family (and should we start taking bets on how long she will last on the show?).

Is she taking Paula's place???? I give her one season!
She is not taking Paula's place...they are adding a fourth judge to help balance out the panel. I also give her one season...
