Still a little disappointed it's these 2 in the finale...but I guess I have to get over it. I was underwhelmed last night with Scotty...but I have never been a fan of his. Lauren did great with her first 2 songs and really did fantastic with her last song. Scotty's single was kinda blah. I still don't have high hopes for Lauren winning 'cause of those silly tweens out there...

I'm halfway through the show...Marc Anthony is singing and I am waiting for J-Lo to appear since she isn't in the judges seat.

My fav performances so far...Jack Black with Casey and TLC minus the L...may she rest in peace...and of course they were singing an ode to my senior year of HS...don't go chasing those waterfalls kids.

Hey there's J-Lo reenacting her fly girl days!:) Oh and Sheila E...which David called from the beginning.

I was completely annoyed by freakin' Judas Priest and James but laughed when there number was followed by the gospel music including Miss Gladys Knight. I also thought that maybe they didn't need to sing all of Beyonce's songs before she made her appearance. I do wish they made the top 12 girls dance along with Beyonce in those ridiculous heels...how does she not break her ankle?

Now our top 12 boys are singing...who in the world picked these songs? AHHHH Tom Jones...Hearing them does make me remember how much I loved Stephano and Paul. (Shot to Jack Black...dude is groovin' and still crackin' me up).

Have I ever mentioned I can't stand Lady Gaga...I may be the only one...but I do. I don't hate her songs, I just can't watch her...I'd rather listen to Glee sing her songs.

Did I also mention that I fast forwarded through Tim McGraw...I won't however be fast forwarding through Carrie Underwood, because I love her...and it wouldn't be an AI event with out her. Sadly, as much as I like Lauren, Carrie's voice just puts her's to shame.

All the little clips of the contestants being all snappy are hilarious.

and if you haven't noticed...the last few weeks have been the Beyonce and Lady Gaga show. I like me some Beyonce...but seriously...speaking of seriously...Spiderman? It's a good thing I LOVE Bono and The Edge, or I'd be fast forwarding this too. I'm still SO sad that I wasn't at Rice Eccles last night...I need to attend another U2 concert...one ain't enough.

Steven Tyler is missing from the judges seats....ohhhh baby this could be good...so good. I LOVE that man!

I know I haven't blogged since like week 2 or 3 of this AI season...I've just haven't cared that much to share my thoughts each week. I've been annoyed with the contestants who have remained and those who have left. I miss Paul...but I thought since next week is the finale I would share 2 thoughts...

#1...I am SO FREAKIN' happy that James went home last week. I could not stand that kid from day one and I was clappin all alone in my house last Thursday when they put Scotty into the final 3 instead of James. Happy!

(I don't know if this is the strongest final 3 we have seen...however...with the 4 that were around last week...I'm then happy with these 3...did I mention I miss Paul?)

#2...I really wanted Hailey to go home the first week or so...but I'm not going to lie (and I have been a Lauren fan since she sang with Steven in her city audition) but I am really leaning for Hailey to win it all. I have appreciated her a TON the past few weeks...she seems to have come into her skin on stage and her unique voice has totally grown on me...AND...I also appreciate that she picks songs that aren't so popular at this moment or well known and then knocks them out of the park despite what the judges may say...

Those are my thoughts....I'm sure I'll have something to say next week for the finale:)

Oh....and if you aren't watching The Voice you should...I LOVE it!

AND....Dance starts next week and I couldn't be more excited!

So....my DVR wasn't loving me last Thursday...or my son has gotten too smart and deletes my shows so I can't watch them and have to play with him:) Either way, I missed the show where the top 13 got picked....oh well. My favorites are in and some of the annoying ones are out, so I won't complain too much! :)

Songs by their personal idol.

Lauren (you all know I love her)...idol: Shania Twain. Any man of mine. Not my favorite of her performances....a little "yelly" and she sounds nervous for the first time. Still love her big voice. (and don't say thank you at the end of your performance). I agree with the judges...she's young, someone help her pick better songs.

Casey: idol: Joe Cocker. With a little help from my friends. Could be a good song for him. Oh boy...he's got the choir out on the first week. this kid's voice is great....I do like him a lot. Sorry sweet Lauren, but he just blew you out the water. Again....totally agree with the judges.

Ashton: She's lucky the judges got a pick....'cause I don't really like this girl all that much. Idol: Diana Ross...only 'cause the judges told her she is like Diana. When you tell me that you love me. Rough start girl....rough. Got a little better....but still don't like her.

Paul: Idol: Ryan Adams. Come Pick Me Up. I really like this kid...really like. I want him to do well. Again, not my favorite performance...dang it. Steven just said "Pitchy"....I agree....just funny. And Randy just name drops...silly Randy. Vote America Vote.

Pia is pretty: Idol: Celine Dion....risky girl...risky. All By Myself. First time ever that I will say that I am not booing at her picking a Celine song. This girl has got a voice on her and I loved it. Keep it up Pia....Keep it up! Jennifer's crying....Randy's putting her in the group with his "big 3 of girls"....Steven wishes he was 30 years younger:)

James (I really can't stand this kid): Idol: Paul McCartney. Maybe I'm Amazed. I really wish he wouldn't sing anything related to the Beatles...blech. Not his best beginning. Wasn't horrible...still don't like him. I know he has fans and ain't going anywhere...so I will just tolerate. Annoying dude...quit making the girls scream by raising your hands....that's just showing us you are full of yourself.

Haley. Idol: Leann Rimes. Blue. Did you have to wear a blue dress? She's about to start doing a hula dance....no I think she is doing one. It's Hawaiian Country. If you like the country thing, it's not bad...I don't really like the real country, country. These little girls need to learn not to say thank you at the end of the performances. Steve just said that if you listen carefully you can hear the rest of America roaring, then qualified it with "the country western part"....he knows. I may be with Randy on the boring side....she tried to liven it up with some hula dancing, give her a break. See? They just did their own luau comparison...

Jacob. Idol: R Kelly (really? your church voice is gonna sing a child molesters song? weird). I Believe I Can Fly. Okay....I can see that song by you. Did you borrow the earrings from R. Kelly too? Here comes another choir....kinda need one for this song....or maybe Jordan shootin' hoops. Okay...ending is too screamy.

Thia: Idol: Michael Jackson. Smile. She just called Charlie Chaplin...Chapman. She has no idea who he is....awesome. She has a pretty voice....I just don't know if I care all that much for her. Like the switch up to the faster beat. Fits her age better. Funny that the judges liked the beginning better.

Stefano. Idol: Stevie Wonder. Lately. I like this kid too. Do Washington proud kid...do us proud. I wish he was wearing his Seattle Sonics "robbed" shirt again. I'd never seen it till he wore it last Wednesday, then I saw it on a guy in Seattle this last weekend. I want one:) He's doing much better then he did last week....not nasally...good job kid. You got J-lo rockin' out.

Karen (really can't stand this girl...really). Idol: Selena. The only song I know from Selena. Rough start for her too. Boring. Judges not really lovin' it....good.

Scotty. Idol: Garth. The River. Here comes the country. Lean to the right Scotty...lean to the right. I swear, this kid sings 3 maybe 4 notes in every song...no range at all.

Naima. Idol: Rhiana. Umbrella. I love this song....should be interesting. Oh and dance moves. I like Holly Holiday and Will Schuster's version better. Oh wait....now the Jamaica twist....kinda fun. Seriously...she just did a little dance...did Paula choreograph that?

Hmmmm. I don't know. Am I losing my love for AI or is there just not that one person I want to hear sing that makes me look forward to this show. I'm not really screaming for one person. Tonight, my top pick is actually Casey then Pia. Other then that, they did good, I'm just not all geeked up about it all.

So who will be in the bottom and who is going home? I'll throw out: Ashton, Thia and Haley (maybe Jacob and Karen should be in there too).

On to the girls...

Ta-tynisa...I don't really know who she is...but her start to this song is B-A-D. She is not on the note at all...serious crap. She will not be in my top 5. Steven you be crazy on that review. Jennifer is crazy too...bring us back to reality Randy...thank you. "Being a performer is about moving the crowd and she moved the crowd"...so says the lip syncer j-lo (don't get me wrong, I love me some j-lo....just sayin').

Naima (these girls names are gonna kill me)...no one should sing this song after Fantasia did. She sounds like she belongs in a jazz club.

Kendra....don't know her either. Oh...she sang "Blackbird" with my boy and I didn't think she did that great. I didn't mind it....some of the higher notes were too screechy for me....but she had lots of control, so I'll give her that.

Rachel....cannot stand this girl...CANNOT stand. Is she on cabaret? This isn't helping me like her anymore. She's trying to be all that and sexy....but really she's nervous and awkward and it ain't good. Thank you Steven....too broadway...amen....and she's speechless. J-Lo has a lot of rings on....I'd like just one of them:)

Karen...I don't like her either. No she isn't....have we learned nothing over 10 years....no mariah, no celine....c'mon girls....oh....well, I guess if she sings it in spanish then it's ok:) If she goes back and forth between english and spanish will she only get have the hispanic votes (is that racist?...sorry if I offended....just pick one language, I don't care which, and stick with it).

Lauren....who? I didn't know her until she got put in to the top 24. How cute, a treble clef on her wrist...she must really be into music. I didn't mind her. Her voice is good....but whatever.

Ashthon....oh....her....she bugs. Do I like any of the girls? Don't like her outfit...yuck! What song is this? Nope...not for me.

Julie....I really like this girl...her dresses are awesome and she does great behind the piano. See? cute dress!:) Don't really like when they sing Kelly....and she isn't doing all that great....seems flat and dull. Too bad....she just doesn't have the range to sing this song....it's staying in the same 5 note range....not good. Well said Randy...well said (that's kinda weird to say).

Haley...I remember seeing her face a lot....but I don't remember her voice. Why do these little girls try to act sexy....it doesn't work. The beginning was an exact duplicate of Alicia's voice, the rest is just ok. Maybe if she wasn't trying so hard to be all sexy or whatever, I could have enjoyed her more.

Thia. She's young. starting all alone. brave. 15 years old. great voice. she was on America's got talent, so singing on a big stage in front of tons of people is nothing new for her.

Lauren. I LOVE this girl. 16. she better not fail me tonight like my boys did last night. She has the kind of voice I love....strong, powerful, in tune. Don't have a clue what that song is....but she did a great job!

Pia. I always got her and Julie confused. She is doing much better then Julie....much better. Wow...standing o by the judges. good job girl.

Okay....I'm fairly disappointed with the girls tonight and I think it's gonna be another boy's year...hmmmm.

the only 2 girls I care to get into the top 12 is Lauren and Pia...whatever to the rest of them.

Alright....that's all. Tomorrow we get to find out who are top 12 are. I will be on a plane during the show, so you will have to wait till friday to hear my thoughts, if you care :)

The top 24 perform....The boys

I am loving this year.....LOVING. I am completely satisfied with the new judges....J-Lo has not bugged even once...and Steven Tyler....well, let's just say that my previous love for him and all things aerosmith has only grown stronger...dude is crazy and hilarious all in a good and not annoying way (and I always want to sing "Steven Tyler pjs, steven tyler pjs). Ryan has even grown on me a bit....I don't care what anyone says about him (even Joel Mchale, whom I LOVE) he is VERY good at his job!

The contestants...I have been pleasantly surprised at the talent this year. I am disappointed at some of the people that were put through to the top 24....but I'm hoping America will weed out the crap and cocky attitudes and give us a great top 12. I have a few favorites, but I'm keeping those to myself for the time being.

And lastly...I really enjoyed Hollywood week....I liked the fact that they went to Vegas and sang Beatles song....I thought it was cool. I wished (just like every other year) that we could see more singing and less talking and repeating of the same things....but whatever...they show us what they want us to see so we will vote for who they want us to vote for....it's all rigged, but I don't care, 'cause I love it! OH....And I am loving that we are only taking 1 week to get to our top 12 instead of this business of knocking off 2 each week....I don't care however for the wild card picks by the judges...'cause they will put through the people America doesn't want and the producers do for good tv....blah!

On with the show! (they are on the big stage....not the little studio for the top 24)

Remember how it took 3 hours to get our top 24....LAME....let's move this a bit faster.

Clint...the karaoke funny glasses guy: Singing a very karaoke song. With the colors going and people all around him, it looks like American Bandstand.

Jovany...aka rico suave...don't like this guy. Pretty boring. Thank you Randy...Steven and Jennifer are gonna be super nice (which is fine)....as long as Randy keeps it real.

Jordan: Cockiest kid EVER on AI....I cannot stand him. I was SO made when they put him through. I can't believe he is singing this song....horrible...horrible....I am SO embarrassed for him. Talk about karaoke....I can hardly even stand to listen. Wow...that was B-A-D. Thank you for being honest Steven...and Jennifer...and Randy...please be the end of him. If it's not you why did you pick it?....lame excuses for a bad performance.

Tim: This guy is great! I really like when he plays the piano and I loved his Beatles performance. This wasn't my favorite performance of his, but ok....he just does best sittin' at the piano. Still really like him though.

Brett: This kid is interesting....I have liked some of his performances...but he is a bit strange. I am bit jealous of his hair tonight...somebody put some good mousse in it and it looks good. He has a good voice...but it's really soft and not that impressive. Okay....I like the hair too...but quit shaking it so much!

James: Of all the boys, this is the boy I cannot stand the most....he truly bugs me...he wants to be Adam Lambert and you all know how I feel about him. And ending with the screech....of course. Ok....it wasn't AS BAD as his previous performances....but I still don't like him. I know America will put him through...but I'm not putting him on my list.

Robbie: I like this kid....and his big nose :). He has a very nice voice...very nice...pleasant, if I may. I liked it....David didn't....I did. I think he's a super nice kid and it sounded great.

Scotty: I'm not really sure about him. He's just too country for me. His face bugs David...he tries too hard to be super country singer....he can only sing if he's tilted to the side and his mouth does the crooked thing. David says this song sounds like a Ruby River song....that made me giggle. He does have a nice voice...just not my cup of tea. He'll get the country vote.

Stefano....LOVE mr. Kent, Washington....please do me proud. He is so cute. He is sounding kinda nasally...don't do that. I still love him....little tweens....get to callin' for this boy! That almost last part was not good...dang it....why did you try so hard? Let's get him in the top 12 so he can do better. thanks judges for pushing him...."It's for all the ladies out there". So who's he dating????

Paul: I really, really like this guy...his voice is amazing!!!!! His "Blackbird" rendition last week was awesome! I love him!!! Really, I do....LOVE!!!!! So far....me and David's favorite!

Jacob: This guy is pure straight out the church choir crazy. I will give the kid the fact that he has a strong great voice....his personality is just a bit too over the top for me. Not sure if America wants to hear this every week. No crying on AI little Jacob....no crying. I'll give him Luther Vandross....I love that guy too....hook Jacob up with Linda Ronstadt and we could have a kickin' duet for finale night:)

Casey: I like this kid and his amazing instrument playing talent. His 2 performances with the bass were crazy good. His personality is so great! I thought he did great! I want him to make it so that he can amaze us each week with a different instrument.

American Idol 2011...

Did you watch it? Did you laugh? Do you love Steven Tyler and J-Lo?

Yes, Yes and Yes!

Here are my brief thoughts...

1. Steven Tyler is totally hilarious and I will totally enjoy him through out the show. He not only had me, my husband and my sister cracking up...but all those people in the audition room that you can't see, but can hear...I have loved him forever and his stint on AI (so far) will only make me love him more!

2. J-Lo. I am a fan of her music...well, the first few albums she put out...FAN. I like her movies. I liked her as a fly girl on In Living Color (oh you bet I watched that show). I was a bit concerned about her high maintenance-ness for AI, but I was surprised. She did not bug me in the least. Paula drove me crazy and I always wanted to punch Kara in the face...J-Lo, I 'll keep her (for now).

3. Randy is Randy...he's the same...but bugged me a bit less with these 2 by his side...so time will tell.

4. They let WAY too many people through. They haven't learned to say no yet...I think by the next few cities they will.

5...Favorite thing of the night...The girl with the flower dress that had the really annoying talking voice but sang fine...her age: 16 3/4 (yes, she put 3/4)...I about died...really? If you know who I am talking about...the whole 3/4 thing is even more awesome because she is totally the type of girl that would say she is 16 and 3/4.

I was SO happy that the "losers" won the group competition.

The other team is SO full of themselves...good night...who do you think you all are? The funniest thing...Miss Gretchen was back peddling so badly...tears and all...man I can't stand that girl. Gretchen is wretched...wretched.

And even though Casanova is kinda annoying...I'm glad he won.

I'm totally bummed they didn't give her the boot...She just thinks so much of herself that I can't handle it!

Hallelujah...Tim totally just called Gretchen out...and I am SO proud of him for pointing out what we all already know...awesome...knock her down a few notches!

The finale...Dance season 7

That opening number was AWESOME.seriously.minus the freakin' tapper at the beginning that I can't stand! I'm not gonna lie...I almost go teary eyed when they wheeled out Alex...oh how I love him. Maybe it's a good thing he got hurt and is gone, 'cause I would be in a serious quandary over he and Kent.

I do love those judges...I do.I loved Mary Murphy, but I didn't even miss her.

I just want to see the best routines of the season...let's get on with that. Here we go...hurray!

Up first...Tyce's something or other with Kent and Neal...oh...the baseball one. I'd love to see the one these 2 danced about the friend stabbing the other in the back...that one was amazing.

Next up (Nigel)...one of Stacey's...oh...the homeless one...this one was crazy amazing...crazy. So glad we get to see this one again. chills...seriously...so amazing. She better get nominated for this one...

***shout out to Doogie in the audience***If you don't know my love for Mr. Neil Patrick Harris...then you need to spend a little more time with me:)

America's best dance crew: Quest with Ryan and Hawk...oh how I loved Hawk.

Mia's pick (I'm guessing the mom dance by Travis). Nope...just saw the suitcase...so it's the military one? Comfort and Adechike...not the military one....it's Fallen and it was GOOD. chills again...that girl is good. Can't stop watching that girl...just lovely.

Kent and Anya...Love this one...LOVE...ok...LOVE Kent. I heard this song on the radio the other day...made me smile.

Oh...who picked the clown one? Tyce. didn't love this...mostly because Robert is in it...but I will agree with Tyce about America's favorite couple...NappyTabs...amen to that. This is the 2nd of their routines to be featured...and we know that the Alex/Twitch is also going to be featured...I'm guessing no other choreographers have had 3 of their routines featured in the finale. I do love Dom....oh do I?!;)

This little flash back is making me excited for tomorrow night and watching all the fav dances of the season....I think this season has had some of the best routines ever.

Kent and Lauren (all-star) bollywood...we have seen a LOT of this, this season. I LIKED it...and I don't always...but he is so freakin' cute and that was a great routine.

Lauren and Twitch doing nappytabs (how I just smile when I see them sitting with the choreographers and I know one of their routines is coming soon). AWE.SOME.

Robert and Mark doing jazz. Mark is better then Robert. I don't like really like that song. Here the judges go pushing Robert again. No he didn't.

the interview with Kent. He is just so cute. I Love him. I should vote. I won't. but I should.

Kent solo. Not his best. oh well. shirt open for the girls.

Robert and Lauren contemporary. That was a cool routine. pretty. nice work choreographer.

Lauren and Kent jazz (wow...I hope it is a slow routine...poor girl). First we have "whip it" and now "it's hip to be square"...not really sure about that. Kinda lame...cheesy basic jazz routine. I agree...there was NO challenge. I feel bad for Mandy Moore. I'm impressed that Kent gave Mandy props, since the judges were (not so blatantly) slamming her crappy choreography.

Robert interview and solo. I feel like he does that same thing for every solo. At least Kent tried to change it up...even if it wasn't his best.

Kent and Allison choreography (I like Stacy's routine and I love watching allison dance). GOOD JOB KENT. Did you see the emotion on his face...THAT was crazy good. How come it was just all-stars in the opening number? I'm not complaining...just wondering.

More National Dance Day stuff.

Some chic I have no idea who she is. I think maybe I have heard this song...but I don't need to hear it again...and she brought her own dancers...didn't someone tell her she didn't need to do that.

Some solos...guess we can drag out the kick off to the end since the judges have no part of all this.

Kent solo...and then a hilarious moment with Kent (oh I hope he wins). Guessing they are putting Kent and Lauren through first since they already did their solos...Yep...Lauren is in there first. It sucks that they can't have a boy and girl winner and she and Kent can share the title.

The other guys solos...who's in next???? If they don't leave it to Adechike and Robert...then there isn't any guessing...and they don't...Kent's in...no sighs needed...this boy is A.mazing!

I don't enjoy just one person dancing...he's great and all...but I need at least 2 on the floor.

I'm rooting for Lauren and Kent. I would be totally fine with Adechike as the third, but only because I can't stand Robert. What were your top 4 picks? I know we didn't officially say...but did you have an idea? I listed Alex, Kent, Lauren, Jose and Alexie as my original favs. I still stand by Alex and think he would be in the final 3 with Kent and Lauren....dang knee.

Adechike and Lauren (the all-star) doing African-jazz. That was a bit more upbeat...but I watched her more...she totally out-danced him. Wow...judges didn't love it...

Robert and Anya doing a viennese waltz. Anya is beautiful. I don't care for Robert. I liked Channing...makes me sad that she is such good friends with Robert.
Kent and Courtney doing a disco (what the crap....4 sucky dances in a row). He looks kinda like a cheerleader when he does the arm pump things...and it makes me giggle. Not as fast paced as other disco routines...but the spinning of Courtney above his head...going super fast...a bit scary.
Lauren with Ade doing jazz. Have I ever mentioned I LOVE Ade?! So help me America...you better get to votin' for this girl, 'cause if she gets the boot and Robert is in the finale I will be pissed. She is amazing!
Adechike and my girl Katherine doing ???? I'm still not sure. and I don't feel like he did any dancing till the end of the routine....I'm not really sure what that was even about...and I listened the choreographers story?! Kind of feel like the judges are saying good bye to him...let's remind them that they have bagged on him all season and America keeps voting for him...just sayin'.
Robert and Dominic doing hip hop with Nappytabs (sure...he gets the hip hop routine). Cool routine...Dominic is just so much more effortless in his movements. I love Dominic...he makes me laugh and smile. Bull Adam...he did NOT outdance Dom...Pah.lease.
Hmmm....do you think the judges want Robert in the finale?
Kent and Neil doing a contemporary with Travis. I will say this...Travis really tells amazing stories through his choreography...stories that you can really watch unfold. Wow. I could watch those 2 boys dance ALL NIGHT...love it! Some people go to therapy to work through issues...Travis choreographs...and I am so glad. Tyce cracks me up too! And Mia cries and Adam starts to lose it...

I just watched the veto show and the kick-off show and I just need to scream from the top of the mountain...I LOVE THIS SHOW! Seriously contestants...watch previous show...learn how the show always works...don't use pawns...if you want some one to go home...PUT THEM ON THE BLOCK!

Brenden and Rachel BUG...they are both such whiney babies...but they are here to stay...boy can those 2 compete.

Matt is a tool...cocky as all get out...and I'm glad his wife is disappointed in his lie about her non-existent illness.

Enzo, Lane and Brittany...hilarious....they crack me up. Ragan does too.

Hayden...just love this kid...and poor Kristen...got no tv time the first 2 weeks and now because of "Captain Kosher" she is in serious trouble. Can't say that I was sad to see him go...best "exit" speech ever!

What is going to annoy me about this next week. Hayden and Kristen are going to LIE about their relationship when they should just come clean and move on. Rachel is going to be out to get Kristen for no other reason then she be stealin' Rachel's "I've got a showmance" thunder...No one will be shocked when she puts those 2 up. BLAH!

I'm just finishing up Wednesday night's dancing and I just need to say...this year we have seen the best dancers ever. We had had terrific dancers over the year...but this year...there are SO many good dancers...and sadly, one of the best (Alex) was sent home early. And then there is a choreography...it's been crazy amazing.

I LOVED the contemporary routine between Billy and Ade (one of my fav males of all times)...one of the best routines EVER on the show. The routine with Robert and Kathryn was fantastic...but only because I LOVE Kathryn (not Robert so much). Lauren and Kent still are my 2 favs...just LOVE LOVE LOVE them! That Balliwood routine...just showed my how freakin' annoying Robert is...he is too over the top and I can't stand him.

Now that I have seen the whole show...I probably should have put Adechike in the bottom instead of Billy, but oh well.

Just started the kick off show...Allison is dancing...no Lauren...not a good sign. See...another injury...what the crap?! By the way...that first routine was AWESOME!

My mouth just opened as big as Robert's...why the crap is Lauren in the bottom???? I am SO pissed.

Opening number...LOVE when the all-stars dance...just love them.

So I guess the number I missed last night was Robert doing disco...I am SO glad I missed that. My least fav guy doing the worst dance...no thank you!

They keep talking about Ashley...but we haven't even seen her in the crowd, last night or tonight.

Kinda tired of hearing about dance day...just sayin'.

Not happy to see Lauren and Kent out together...they better both be safe...they are my FAVORITES!!! I'm so glad I get to hear the judges comments after his contemporary routine...I LOVE that they gave him such high praise...he just dances so beautifully and effortlessly. Have I mentioned I LOVE him! HURRAY!!!! It knew it couldn't be either of them!

And some little kids dance. I can't take any more...I'm fast forwarding!

Billy and Adechike are up against each other...there go my points. I'm mad I didn't see Robert's disco, 'cause I would have maybe put Robert in the bottom instead of one of these two...so who's in the bottom? Billy....I'm telling you, America just ain't feeling him...but they are loving Adechike.

Robert and Jose...this shouldn't be hard to guess...Doesn't America LOVE Jose and get bugged by Robert like I do...I think so. Again...I am fully bugged...I just don't think he is genuine at all and that really bothers me...are you kidding me??? He's safe? Oh...a TV debut...Kristina Perry singing Jar of Hearts. That was SUPER Fantastic...GREAT song...What a GREAT story for Kristina...and really...Allison is the best dancer ever...i could watch her again and again.

And the dancer leaving (hey, Ashley is finally showing her face) is...Ashley's doctors say she can't dance for 3-5 weeks so she is leaving. I'm really not sad about this. Although, I think it is AWESOME that Lauren is the only girl left...lots more boy/boy routines. Dang it...I should have guessed it...would have gotten more points:(

Brenden and Rachel are full on together...how funny...9 days in and he kisses her on the forehead to comfort her...'course you all know what is happening "off" camera.

The "Brigade" is annoying...Enzo is the Worst! Brenden is kinda a big wussy! I'm not even sure who I should root for.

and the saboteur is....Annie...no surprise...but awesome that she is on the block the first week.

Do you know who we NEVER see or Hear from...the blond chick that sometimes has curly hair and sometimes not...who I think is friends with Hayden outside the house.

Annie's speech was kind of a wowza. If you didn't want Brenden on your side that is the way to do it!

and the voting begins...everyone gets Annie out. Remember in my first post how I said they always talk about this big bomb they will drop and it turns out to be nothing...here it is again...great idea...done the first week...Lame. Funny that they aren't gonna tell the houseguests...I think they should, so they can be proud they made the right decision in the eviction.

HOH competition...Brenden is out in the first round...and the "brigade" is out in the second round. And Rachel wins...that's not good for you little "brigade"...not good at all!

This year's theme should have been "last uninjured dancer standing wins"...now poor Ashley did something to her ribs. My guess is, she will be back next week just fine...of course, I could really care less about her...so whatever. I am glad she is out for another reason...hiphop routine with Jose and Dominick...nice!

First up Lauren doing a tahitian dance...first time on SYTYCD...all I can say is HOT.HOT.HOT. Maybe if I could learn to shake my hips that way they would get a wee bit smaller:) I love how the majority of her booty shakin' is turned towards the crowds. Girl rocked that dance. It is pretty amazing that she moved her body the way that girls practice for years...I LOVED it!

Adechike doing Salsa with poor Anya who has to do 2 dances tonight. I'm not sure if Anya's grimmace is because she is struggling or fearing for her life with the lifts and such Adechike is doing. It looked a bit rough to me. Nigel is praising...but the things he is praising are more on Anya's side. Interesting...every week they bag on Adechike and I get so mad, but this week they are giving him more positive and I didn't really like it...oh well!

Jose doing Broadway. I'm usually not a fan of the broadway pieces...but Jose was A.mazing. He totally danced like a broadway dancer and I totally need to BOO Nigel. I thought he did great! Boo hiss...Nigel. I feel a little bad for the choreographer. Wow...after listening to the judges I feel like I should erase my comments and start over...oh well...I really, really liked it!

Robert doing contemporary. Maybe a little similar to the cancer routine from last year. Do you love how Robert is even dressed like Travis?! That was a phenomenal routine...I just wish that Robert hadn't danced it. And the judges are crying...and Robert is pulling out the fake tears. I actually watched Allison the whole time...she is amazing...and you can tell she felt it...I don't but it from him...sorry...don't like him. Ok...mia is makin' this hard for me even...good night people...why couldn't another guy dance this.?

Billy doing jive. I think this may be Billy's last week. The judges have been hard on him all season...and America doesn't seem to love him either. It was fine for me. Here we go again...the judges trash him every week when I like him and now they are praising and I'm fairly ho hum.

Kent doing Broadway (with a boy:). I bet they had some good fun in practice...just sayin. Cute. Mostly because I LOVE these 2 boys...and so do the tweens! Yeah for praise for Kent!!! I'm with Mia...I LOVE boys too! Hurray!

Lauren and Billy doing jazz. Love this song. Lauren is freakin' adorable...I just love her. She has the cutest personality and it totally came flying out here...Billy did great too! yeah for good comments from the judges too! Hurray for a great routine...so fun!

Jose doing a Nappytabs (second boy/boy routine for them...but this time they ain't workin' with a ballet dancer...can Jose do better then sweet Alex who I am missing so terribly tonight?) I love Dominic. And I am loving that they have Legacy and some other guy there too. Ok...that was pah.retty cool to see a choreographed b-boy routine...I will say (and I love Jose) Dom's a better breaker/dancer. The beginning was Awe.some...my favorite part of the whole routine. I really liked it a lot...very cool to see..however...I liked the Alex routine better...totally different I know...but better...this was great though...don't get me wrong. Kinda interesting to think...we expect the breakers to do every type of dance but never have the contemporary dancers pull a break dance card...maybe we should. (and we will ignore the whole dominic running off the stage with the "sword" that the judges made a huge deal about like a bunch of 5th graders).

Kent and Adechike doing contemporary. Mia's gonna have her "I love boys" for the hrid time tonight. My tv just went dark in the middle of this routine and I am about to CRY because I was LOVING it. Kent is the best dancer...ever....I just love this kid and I am about so sad that it cut out. I could care less to see Robert's routine with whoever he ended up dancing with...dang it. Ahhh man...I really wanted to hear what the judges said...someone fill me in:)

I love how at the beginning of each season the talk about "big bombs"...and they never are. this year..."a saboteur"...we get to play a role...which means we get to pick what this person does. But will they tell us who it is???? Oh the suspense.

Then the house goes dark and the saboteur strikes...I may have to switch and side with David on the drunk girl...she's awfully quiet AND I'm pretty sure she is the only one that hasn't been shown discussing this whole saboteur thing in confession...interesting...guess we have to wait a week to find out for sure!

Stacey Tucci, Mia and the make-team all got Emmy nods. Check out Chelsea Hightower getting an Emmy nod for her choreography on Dancing with the stars.

Glee got 19...not that shocking really...how I LOVE that show!

First 2...Billy and Lauren..I'm thinking both safe. Billy is in the bottom 2...I'm a little surprised...will it be Billy and Robert again? Lauren's sitting there and she better be fairly confident that she is safe....and she is.

and the rest...Kent...those tweens aren't gonna let him go anywhere...I wouldn't either. Watching the play back it just makes me think of J. Timberlake all over again. Jose's next...America loves him too....see? told you! Robert's next...dang it...I hope he's in the bottom...he just bugs. Dang it...that makes me mad...those stupid judges praising him is completely unfair. Which means Adechike is in the bottom and probably going home and it makes me made because the judges just bash and bash and bash him every week....favoritism? Yeah...I think so. WHAT???? Alex...is injured...not gonna get to perform...total bummer because he is my favorite...I mean, I watched the hip hop routine from last week so many times...he was A.mazing.

It's kinda fun to see the contestants off stage talking to the camera 'cause it makes me like a few of them more...like Billy diming out Jose's love of Lauren's booty....of course, it doesn't help me like the likes of Robert out anymore...cause he BUGS!

Mia, you can't compare him to Dave Scott..c'mon. Just had to rewind and watch again...man, he's just so great:)

Adechike and Kourtney doing jazz. Not as hot as the cha cha...AND...I remembered why I didn't like Kourtney her year...the faces she makes when she dances...bugs. The dance was okay for me. I appreciate Mia's comments...maybe not as bad as she feels about it...but not great like Nigel...maybe somewhere in the middle with Adam...but less blah blah blah.

Billy and ????....(not Allison)...Katie...love her...remember...we didn't like her...then did...oh, and they are doing broadway. Hmmm. I liked the routine...I'm not sure America is going to vote for him...the judges sure like him tonight. I'll be honest, I watched Katie more then him. Still don't think he's got the personality that brings in the votes.

Robert and Katherine doing Jazz (kinda annoyed because I LOVE her and not him so much). That routine was perfect for his cheesyness. I can't say I liked it, because I can't stand him. Nigel is talking about "arrogance"...I agree with Nigel, I don't see it at all...however, it's his cheesyness...people can't stand his personality...and he will remain in the bottom till the judges realize America doesn't want him to win.

Not Alex and Adechike doing Bollywood. Ok.....how many jumps did he just do. I actually thought he did that VERY well. He's not one of my favs...but I liked that dance on him. This kid can't win...didn't put your personality in it...now you put too much of your own personality in it...I feel a little bad for him. His poor face breaks my heart as they bash on him each time. THANK YOU Kat for sticking up for Adechike and pointing out the Jose thing...way to go girl. Really can't win can he? I'd vote for him just because of all this...if only I weren't watching it too late.

Kent and lauren doing contemporary. I can't dislike this...'cause I love them both. How great was that. I pretty much love anything Travis does...so the 2 of them on this was fantastic for me. I'm just so glad the judges liked it...

Billy and Jose doing African Jazz. Jose just said superfast. If you know my child...he will never run anywhere unless he charges his arms up and yells "superfast". Aside from the music, costumes and storyline...I don't see how this is African Jazz. Looked like a jazz routine set to African music...does that make if African Jazz? This is the first routine I haven't loved Jose in.

Robert.sometimes I just feel like the contemporary dancers just throw themselves around.lack of good choreography equals spazzy dancing.

I have NO IDEA who the judges are gonna send home...could they possible send Robert home...I won't get points, but I might be okay with that...as long as Melinda and Cristina are short to follow.

Debbie who? Debbie Nova...I just want to see the all-stars dance. Check out comfort looking all like a real dancer and not just a hip hop gally. She's about the littlest thing ever.

Lovin' that they draw an all-star to see who and what they are dancing.

Cristina's up first...paso with Pasha. It was good. Parts she did really well (but she should, since she knows the whole partnering thing) and a few times it was just okay for me. Judges are loving it...but I will admit I'm not a hugh Cristina fan so you know..whatever. Hey...what's up with Pasha standing there...guess they are going to give better props to the all-stars this week.

Adechike...contemporary with Allison. Mandy Moore picks the greatest songs. Okay..so he is a great dancer, unfortunately, I can't stop watching her. The smile on her face is so real and genuine and you can see that he keeps saying to himself "smile"... "look loving"...see? Mia gets it.

Alex...broadway with Lauren . Ok...REALLY liked that. Again, it's hard to not to just watch her...but he did pretty fantastic. Funny how they praised the crap out of Cristina and I was kinda ho hum and this one they are like...yeah...it was fine, but you need to blah blah blah and I was like Wow ....loved it! I like this Alex kid!

Ashley...jazz with Mark. Oh my freakin' goodness I LOVED that. Travis might just be my new favorite choreographer...that was great routine. Oh brother Nigel...it was a dance..who cares if it is jazz or contemporary. Travis doesn't need to be reprimanded on air...seriously, it was such a great routine and I just loved it. she is a terrific dancer...not my fav girl in personality...but I think she will grow on me...her body is pretty amazing.

Billy...Krump wih Comfort...oh boy...this could be disastrous. An aptly named song "so you think you can krump". Not gonna lie...he TOTALLY pulled that off for me. Even looked angry a few times. Even after listening to the judges...still not gonna change my opinion of the dance. I just watched it and enjoyed it. Guess I don't know enough about Krump to give it a true critique....

Robert....argentine Tango with Anya. Anya is amazing...I just love her. This is one of those dances where it is to his benefit that he is dancing with an all-star 'cause you can't stop watching her and she makes him look good. I don't know how you judge him 'cause she seemed to do every thing. TOTALLY agree with Mia...Anya did devour him. He is SO FREAKIN' weird...really? fake throwing up...what?! America please don't vote for him.

Melinda...contemporary with Ade. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Ade...I do not feel the same way about Melinda. I want to see that danced with Ade and Kathryn...just sayin. I think she is so stiff. I'm kinda disappointed the judges are praising her. I'm seriously on opposite sides of the judging pool tonight.

Jose...bollywood with my girl Kathryn. SHE IS AMAZING...LOVE HER. He did fantastic! I'm really proud of him...and Kat totally cracks me up. So what...he's miss congeniality. How was it totally wrong...I really enjoyed it!

Lauren...lyrical hiphop with cutie pie Dominic. New choreographer...we'll see how she matches up with the likes of NappyTabs and Shane Sparks. Do you remember the lyrical hip hop by Shane Sparks that Dominic and Sabra did? (go here) Dominic is so great at this stuff.****Wow. I have chills on my arms and legs. Oh my goodness. That was seriously amazing...I will be watching it again. AWESOME choreography. Judges...really? I'm glad that Adam recognizes that Lauren is having a moment and feeling VERY proud of herself...as she should:)(do you see Dominic's hand on Kat while Lauren is having a moment).

Kent...jazz with Kourtney. This kid cracks me up. Have I mentioned how much I LOVE this kid and how great he is. SO gets into character and does such a fantastic job. He is so funny...I really think he is my absolute favorite kid. Wow...how am I so on a different page then the judges. I thought he did such a great job and I am SO mad they are saying this. I totally think he was right on par with her and i am so mad at what they are saying. Boo judges Boo! And by the way...Nigel totally just slammed Travis again with a comment about how Tyce's routine was a jazz routine...not cool Nigel, not cool.

Now I am so confused about who to pick because everything I loved the judges did not...what will America think????? What do you think? Leave your bottom 3 and who is going home.

After a FANTASTIC showing last week, I have high hopes for this season...let's hope they don't disappoint...

Let the games begin:

Billy and Lauren (Broadway with Tyce): He's good....she's good....they did really good. It's weird to only have one of them be a contestant. Nigel just said something I hadn't really thought about...chemistry between the partnerships...it is going to be interesting since they are switching it up every week...could really hurt some of these kids. WOW those judges had a lot to say to him...I think they are going to judge him harder then others....just sayin'

Cristina and Mark (Jazz with Sonja) I love Mark and Sonja's dances...I don't really like Cristina all that much. Mark's amazing...Cristina actually did pretty well for a latin dancer...can't hate her as much this week...she just looked sucky next to Anya last week.

***On a side note....I was concerned I would miss Mary and her screaming...I DON'T...LOVE LOVE LOVE Mia at judges table.

Jose and Comfort (hip hop with Nappytabs...hollah)...how did he get that lucky for his first week of competition? Comfort was painful to watch in other genres the season she was on...but man can this girl dance in her genre...and this was FANTASTIC!

Adechike and Kathryn (my favorite girl ever...) with jazz and Travis. Hmmmm...I'm kinda disappointed here...didn't really showcase his amazing dancing...more just showed off Kathryn. Here we go on that chemistry thing...this all star thing may hurt them. I agree with the judges...he needed to do a whole lot more...but let's be honest, doesn't matter what he was doing...I be watchin' my girl Kathryn (she got ROBBED her season).

Melinda and (she really bugs me...she's pretty full of herself) Pasha doing a Jive with Melanie and Tony (I think it's funny that it used to be Tony and you would see Melanie in the background...now Melanie is right in there...love it(did you know she was on what not to wear a few years back?:) She better be good at this quick feet stuff being a tapper and all. How is Pasha not a professional on Dancing with the Stars. She did okay...I'm never gonna have nice to things about her...she just bugs me.

Alex and Allison (contemporary with Sonja)...Allison is beautiful and a beautiful dancer. He's really fantastic...she is really hard not to watch...the judges are on their feet and Nigel is barely holding on...he can't even talk...and just gave the biggest compliment EVER...I'm SO glad.

Alexie and Twitch (nappy again...hollah back). Twitch is like 3 times her height (love this song) LOVE these types of routines by my favs nappytabs....she totally reminds me of Chelsea Hightower and I LOVE her. She is SO cute and I thought she did so great...Amen Nigel. Yeah...maybe she didn't "hit it" so hard...but the music (for me) fit how she danced it...oh...and Twitch is Awe.some.

Lauren and Ade (lucky) jazz with Mandy Moore. Mandy loves her some 80s music. I LOVED that...doesn't hurt that I LOVE Ade and Lauren is my favorite gally. Her body is ridiculous. Boo Nigel Boo. I thought it was a terrifically fun routine. Okay...so Adam is right...she totally was face front to the audience smiling and not connecting with Ade...but I still LOVED it.

Kent and Anya (oh man) cha cha with Tony and Melanie. I like this kid...such a great personality. Ok...that was so freakin' terrific. How cute is that kid??? Oh I just love him. Oh and Nigel...you might want to let Kent know who Paul Newman is before making that comparison. "Cool" he says...really he is just a great kid. I can't stop smiling and laughing....between this kid and the judges it's just happy hour on SYTYCD.

Ashley (who I feel like I don't know at all) and Neil (contemporary with Tyce). Maybe it's because it's almost the last dance...maybe it's because I have no connection to Ashley...but that dance was just another dance to me...it was good but I'm not jumping up and down. Ouch..."in fact I think I am"...you're 19...really?

Robert (he's a weird duck) and Kourtney (african jazz). He is a great dancer...but so strange...his personality is off-putting. Oh dear Adam...let's not go there yet...did you already forget Alex's routine? See? Sooooo strange....

I've been having internet issues this week...so I didn't blog while watching this week's episodes of SYTYCD...which is too bad because MAN were they good!

I actually didn't mind them going to their hometowns to let them know if they made it or not...however, awkward for those who didn't, since they had to some how say good bye to the judge and have them leave the house rather then just walk back off the stage...but so cool for those who did make it...

I'm pretty glad they decided to do a top 11 since I was struggling with the fact that either Billy or the dark head kid would get cut. For the most part I like everyone who made it...with a few exceptions....Tap girl and salsa girl....

As for the "first night" of dancing with the all-stars (which I will just say....LOVE that they are back and may struggle watching the contestants when I will just want to watch them....cause they were all my favorites)...

First number...a Wade Robson...AWESOME...couldn't stop watching the all-stars though.

Jazz number (Travis Wall) with my favorite boy and favorite girl....the young kid from the weird named place and the blonde ( I LOVE her like I LOVED Katherine....who she got to dance with).....Amazing routine and they did so freakin' great!

Broadway number (with the tapper and the girl who has tried out a zillion times...it was okay. I'm pretty sure I will want tapper girl to go home shortly.

Salsa number....oh boy...that girl is gonna be in trouble...how am I supposed to watch her when Anya and Pasha are on stage???? seriously, those 2 are A.Mazing.

Hip Hop....HOLLAH! You all know this to be my FAVORITE and I LOVE me some NappyTabs and I LOVED this routine. Little Jose held his own against those 3....Man, I have missed Dominic...I will be watching that one again. Totally clapped when it was over:)

Jazz? (Sonja)...FAVORITE of the night! Seriously...this was so freakin' fantastic!!! I don't even remember which contestants did this one...oh ya...the dark haired kid, the dark haired girl and the awesome black kid with the crazy body.

Contemporary (Mia...so glad she is back)...cool idea...didn't feel like a lot really went on...missed Ade and glad he is back too!

Is that all? Feel like I'm forgetting one...well...after I watch it again I'll add if I missed!

My early favorites: The blonde...the young kid...Alex (from the Miami ballet) and Jose.

I'm wondering if they will get matched up with the all-stars based on genre...I would be terrified to dance in the genre of an all-star...talk about pressure and a comparison factor you wouldn't want....crazy! 'Course, I don't care cause I can't wait to watch the likes of Katherine, Ade, Dominic, Twitch, etc...to dance...gonna be SO good!

it's too much to blog while watching the city things...so I have just been sitting back enjoying the highs and lows.

Some thoughts and info:

There was a girl in Texas (first one of that night's episode) that was A.Mazing. She was in middle splits and lifted her body up twice...with her thighs I tell you...her thighs...it was crazy.

I was really hoping our "allstars" were back to compete...but they aren't....they are back "Dancing with the stars" style...which is kind of annoying...but I will be happy to see them dance again.

Vegas....that Alex kid is back from season 5....the kid who couldn't go through because of his contract with the Miami ballet. And Billy Bell from last year who got very sick. Alex better make it through...loved him 2 summers ago...still love him.

The screamer is back on the judging panel for Vegas week...guess her feelings aren't that hurt that she got the boot as a permanent judge...maybe we will see her as a choreographer.

Next week: we find out our top 10....with the judges in their homes?! They are changin' it ALL up!

Season 7...and I can't wait! And only 10 make it all the way through...10...out of all you crazy dancers...10...good luck! And there's .....Mia...hollah! where's Mary??? Ohhhhhh boy...Mia replaced Mary as a permanent judge for this season....guess Mia being gone last season stirred up enough that they did what she wanted to bring her back. Wonder if Mary will choreograph some numbers this season...

Day 1:

self proclaimed "big girl" makes it straight through

Our first couple....and the girl's boobs (which are totally NOT real) are seriously barely staying in her top...she must have a lot of J-lo tape in use.

Here come da crazies yo...1-2-3 party. I'm not really seeing any 80s moves per se. I was kinda hoping for a little Molly Ringwald. And he offended Adam by not knowing who he is...don't be so full of yourself...'course...if you are trying out for this show, you should probably know who he is.

....and more crazies...

Teddys back...the diamond pants guy from last season...I can't tell if the judges are liking him or not. Very spastic for me. Guess they like him...WOW...they really like him. Shall see how he does in Vegas again this year.

ballet girl...good....shirtless boy...hot...I mean good:)

The bio-hazard guy...wonder if he knows Mac Taylor...I mean, he does work in NY cleaning up homicide scenes...ummmm...dancing like this...NOT gonna help you in the girlfriend department. "Country line dancing"...I would like Mia to choreograph one of those for the top 20.

"The locker kid"....with his mentor in tow...He'll be pleasing us with "iso-locking". Oh...his nickname is also "Isolock". I don't think he is any better then some of the fab poppers we have seen in the past.

Choreography time....with former Dance alum helping out...and mister isolock is gone...no shocker there.

Day 2:

Horror film guy....with fruit on his head...."different and interesting"...how 'bout weird...I love that his boss said, "he...or she, depending on the day"...awesome.....okay...just creepy...and disturbing. WOW

....and the falling....OUCH!

"why just run"...when you can run up buildings and jump off really high things...and do flips off trees? Not a great break dancer...maybe they could just put trees and walls all over the stage for him and he could impress us that way...'cause really...he kinda sucks.

VERY tall contemporary dancer.

Hot pink dress girl...she was great...but could she pull her hair back...I hate that.

Hot pink shirt boy...with WAY wrong bottoms on...kinda grossin' me out....But he is Good...like the Brandon kid (who I couldn't stand) good. He does need a choreographer though...but most of the dancers do. But he only gets choreography?

Our last NY dancer. "thicker?"..ok...I'm not trying to be rude...but thicker is not the correct word...don't get me wrong...she could still be good...I just don't understand how you can be a dance major and not be at least somewhat thin (aren't you dancing all the time)...Have I offended the world yet? Thank you Adam for being honest...you know when she walked out they thought it was gonna be a big joke...I'm not gonna lie...she did great...I just don't get it. There you go...Mia didn't get any jobs because of her size...though that girl can choreograph.

Choreography...nope...not the "thicker" girl or the "b-boy".

On to Miami...judges...sonja and that newer ballroom choreographer.

What's up...Czech guy comes to Miami to try out? But he's from Colorado?...and he's through.

Ok...this guy is a for reals dancer...but the basketball shorts are B-A-D...not that I want to see the skinny tight outfit in all it's glory alone...but big red shorts?...good thing he is GOOD!

Shaved head kid that couldn't speak straight...GORGEOUS!

Girl dancing with her dad...totally weird. Guess that idea backfired.

momma with a 6 year-old....I hope she's good. She called herself older and she is only 27...big wah....I'm just jealous...'cause I want her body to be my body.

Miami day 2:

Velvet Angels....you know Miami's spice girls:) What kind of dancing is this? Maybe she should try out for Simon's "X-factor" and sing while she dances...not that she is all that great...Love that Sonya told her to back it in and tie it down..."real dancers" want to see the dancing, not that boob a jiggling.

Yellow halter ballroom? oh goodness that was painful.

"crimes against dancing"...seriously...Bad. Cue CSI Miami these music...how did a FOX show get approval for that? Maybe it's a good thing they are only making a top 10 from all these folks.

A legacy wanna be....looks just like him when he dances too. if you make it on the show...you are gonna have to shave that nasty thing off your chin.

Choreography...Velvet Angels...is a no...good thing...go find out when X-factor auditions. Legacy version 2...we shall see.

A night for Simon...I mean...the finale

Thanks to all of you who came to our finale party...we had a great time...don't worry if you missed it...SYTYCD starts tomorrow:)

There were some high points and lots of low points to tonight's finale. Here's my top 5 of both:

High points:

5-Lee looking like he was gonna throw-up before they even announced that he won.

4-All the winners returning as well as some of the American Idol rejects...oh...except David Cook...where was he?

3-Alanis...singer her angry song that takes me back to High school...and watching how awkward she and Crystal were on stage together. What would have been better...her and KD Lang both strummin' their guitars.

1-Carrie Underwood...oh how I LOVE her.

Low points:

5-Janet's lame performance of her own "Nasty"...I'll tell you what was nasty...her 2nd outfit with full on netting up the sides of her body from ankles to wrists...not a good look...and I love me Janet.

4-Throw back to the 70s rocker...way too many "old school" groups. Not that I don't like me some old school groups....just enjoy me some current groupies as well.

3-Having to listen to Siobhan and Mr. Cocky sing again

2-Paula....oh Paula....you are a sad sad gal...and that whole speech was painful and embarrassing...should have just come out and stood next to Andrew while he sang Straight Up.

1-Simon leaving the show...I'm not sure I can watch the show without him.

Another year of Idol is done...but don't be sad...SYTYCD is back and better then ever...we only get 10 new dancers this year with 10 Dance rejects returning...LOVE it!

And a shout-out to Paco for winning the whole thing....he came in on the final week and swept it away from CSandy...hollah! and I am proud to say that I took 3rd...first time ever that I even placed...and didn't cheat like Jo-dan, who used her innocent son to also get in a second set of votes...guess what Jo-dan...Lil P beat ya....:)

I'm starting a bit late in the blogging...so I am going to catch up real fast before I listen to Crystal sing Black Velvet.

Do you remember the big ta-do when it was David vs. David...nothing that fun before or since...just another night of singing really!

Crystal won the toss and was smart and is going second...which really means, she is going last...good job.

Lee's first song was good...can I just say...I am sick of the judges telling the contestants (when they sing more then one song a night) that they better turn things up in the next songs...hello...the songs are already picked, practiced and gonna be performed...it's not like they can say, "hey, I chose to sing 3 ballads...I better speed the next one up so it sounds like I really want to win"...whatever judges, I'm over you! I love Lee...he can do no wrong.

Crystal sings...I hate when the repeat a song...she did great.

Lee's second song..."Everybody hurts"...great song for him. He seems very emotional tonight...Simon calls it nerves....I think he is overwhelmed and emotional...not nervous. I really do LOVE him and he can do no wrong.

Just saw a commercial for SYTYCD and I saw Mia Michaels....hollah!

Crystal with "Black Velvet" and no guitar. Ok...now this girl looks nervous...and want to know why she is nervous...look at those hills and the stairs she is about to walk down. See how she keeps looking at them...she's psyching herself up to get down them without falling on her face. And when she is down the stairs...then the big voice comes....OH AND THE WORDS ON THE TELEPROMPTER....nice kids! This girl really can sing....I think it is gonna be super close my friends...super close!

Lee's final song..."Beautiful Day". What? Like...THE Beautiful Day...they can't write a song for him so they go for a U2 song...interesting...I'm not complaining...I LOVE LOVE LOVE me some U2...but strange. And the beginning was B-A-D. Is Lee cracking under the pressure tonight...you all know my LOVE for him...but it's Bono people...you just shouldn't really touch it. Ok...the ending WAY WAY WAY better...there's Lee...I hope people remember this part of his performance. GREAT second half of the song...ok...I LOVE him again!

Crystal's final song..."Up to the mountain"...(had to wiki it...click on the song and you can read all about it. Written by Patty Griffen...based on Martin Luther King Jr.'s speech "I've been to the mountaintop"...made current by a live version by Kelly Clarkson. Girl's got some serious talent...

Ok...so based solely on tonight...I say that Crystal has this one in the bag....she did great all night and that final song was perfect. BUT...Lee has been super fantastic the previous weeks...tonight was just not his night...HOWEVER....this night is decided long before the songs are sung....people have decided long before who they will vote for....just a matter of who will get Casey's votes....who do you think?

I got all frustrated last year when they didn't show all the home town stuff on performance night...so I am going to remind myself (prior to the frustration) that they show all the crap tomorrow.

Casey....is wearing a terrible shirt...Casey is the 2010 version of the chick that was in the 3rd place slot against Clay and Rueben. Not a bad performance...but we also know that he is going home this week...I'm pretty sure he knows it too.

Crystal...singing Melissa Etheridge...should be a good choice. For the brief harmonica part at the beginning and end...the thing looked annoying to sing over...other then that. GREAT! Surprise...she changed it...but didn't like the "making it her own part"...course if she sang it just like Melissa that would have told her she needed to make it her own....what.ever.

Lee...and the girls scream. Ya'll know I love him...didn't care for the song...but doesn't change how much I will totally buy his album. See? The producers want him to win...he didn't do any better or worse the Crystal and yet they only half praised her. Wonder if it will backfire like it did last year with Adam and Chris. Oh...and Kara stole Simon's "round 1" thing. I'm not saying I hate that they are praising him....I just find it interesting that the judges comments were so different when he and Crystal (to me) sounded exactly the same.

Casey...Kara and Randy pick: daughters by John Mayer (one of my favorite songs...So great). Nope...only half way through...and not doing this song justice. He is leaving the whole song mellow and there should be passion in it...guess I have strong feelings about a song where dad's should be good to their daughters....hmmmm...wonder why:)?! I guess it's hard to connect to a song that has no meaning to you....listen to me...should be sitting on the judges panel. Why are we making such a big deal of the final 4...we all know that it's gonna be Lee vs Crystal...let's just get there!

It's a good thing I watch Glee...or else I would have missed Simon's praise of Crystal...c'mon AI...get your timing right...oh, and thanks AI for making me miss the final number of Glee...your lengthy ending made Glee run over and I DO NOT record Fox news...curses.

On with the show...I'm a little late on this because I spent my "AI watching" wiping each dirty and dusty plank of my new floor. I don't want to complain about it 'cause it's done and I LOVE it...but boy am I sore today...and boy is this post late...I'll do my best to remember who did what and how.

Alicia Keys as a "mentor"...great...love her...and she is actually a very talented "singer/songwriter" but boy was she BORING...oh well...

Casey was up first...you all know I am ho hum about him...no different tonight...just glad the judges finally saw it. He ain't going anywhere though...he has the country vote and "girls that like long hair on boys" vote.

Disney...So, from my viewpoint on the floor...not watching the tv...just listening...his voice wasn't horrible...it was fine...not great...just fine...then he ended and I watched him during the judge's critique...man he bugs me. How much longer is America gonna keep him around? Oh...and his hair is getting worse and worse...never liked the look, but man it looked bad last night.

Aaron...does anyone else think he looks like he is dressed straight out of teeny bopper 80s movie...pushed up sleeves...trying to look cool...I just don't buy it. and really...can they ban "I believe I can fly"...R Kelly should not be allowed on a show aimed towards young girls. The funny thing about this kid...the first few weeks, he was the top "young kid" on the show and Disney was struggling...I think their roles may have reversed in the voting category and Aaron may be in serious trouble.

Siobhan...let's start with the outfit...really? WHAT are you wearing? Next...if you are going to pick a Mariah/Whitney song...try one that isn't related to a cartoon movie...all I could see were the characters from "The Prince of Egypt" trying to escape...why didn't Simon make reference to that like he did with Mr. Cocky...although I am glad that he still didn't like it. That being said...I actually didn't mind the first half of this song...since she just sang it and did sound all nasally and screamy (the nasal came out the second half)...the judges like that she is different and weird and does crazy things...she set that bar for herself, so now when she doesn't ...they don't like her...kinda funny.

Mr. Cocky...I'll be honest...I started talking to David during this song and didn't really listen at all. It doesn't matter what he does or how he sounds, I won't like him and am still angry he is on the show...he should be GONE.

Today I was at a farewell open house for the BIG BOSS. Claymate was there as well and was asked to give a few words. Claymate told how, when Clay's first album was coming out, she was complaining at work that she had to be at work and couldn't go get the album. BIG BOSS went on his lunch break and got her the album. Claymate shared this story to show what a very personal boss BIG BOSS is. And to thank him for his years of service, SHE GAVE BIG BOSS HER LARGER-THAN-LIFE Clay Aiken POSTER!!!

She really must love the BIG BOSS because nothing else would make Claymate separate from her man.

Wow...does the show really need to get that "creative" with their opening...is viewership down yet?

can we have a talk with Kara's stylist? Her outfit is killing me...it's like 3rd grader meets a 16 year-old who thinks glittery top works for the homecoming dance. Kara may even have a "bump-it" in.

Background on Lennon McCartney for all those little ones who haven't a clue who they are...it's sad I know. No visit from McCartney...just a video...phew...'cause I was gonna be angry if those 9 got to share in his presence.

Casey..."jealous guy". It's nice that he isn't doing a real well known song like some of the others have picked. and I like the solo cello on stage. I know I am not a huge Casey fan...mostly because of Kara's inappropriate love of him...but he does well most weeks and I am enjoying this. and the judges liked it...shocker:)

***Glee is back next Tuesday...it's back...oh goodness I can't wait:)

Siobhan...and by interesting they mean crazy...and I mean that in the psych ward sense of the word. and I am sick of the "scream" being considered "singing" or anything amazing...it's just screaming folks. "across the universe" really? another person I can't stand singing a fav of mine...whatever. Oh good...nasal sounding...again. Maybe if she took the nose ring out it wouldn't sound so nasally.? And that outfit...on the opposite end of the spectrum (from Katie) circa 1980. So kara...some of the contestants need to change it up every week...but Siobhan changes it up and Kara doesn't like it? Not defending Siobhan (especially since she is crying right now) but just makes Kara more irritating to me.

***Oh good...bring the crazy man on stage...when they end up in court attempting to get a restraining order...you can blame Ryan.

Siobhan is up first. "Through the fire". I REALLY appreciate usher's wardrobe advice...nice (I agree of course). here comes the nasal...yuck! Then the screams...this is TERRIBLE! Well...you all know I don't like her...and THAT didn't help. I appreciate the lack of print tights...but those shoes suck with that dress...of course, the dress sucks too. I love that Kara just said the "screaming parts" worked...when does screaming work in singing...hello...I can scream, can I get a record deal. Amen Simon! Why are we spending so much time talking to this girl...get on with it! And then we have to see them backstage...are we supposed to feel sorry for her and vote? they are pushing her on us.

This is good...but I don't think she has a good voting audience...young boys aren't voting...girls are saving their votes for Aaron...and she doesn't have the MOST amazing voice that the general population would waste their time calling for her.

Lee is next...I really like lee (I don't really like having to see Mr. cocky so much...and telling her she was on point vocally...) "Treat her like a lady". Love that Usher said nothing more then he has an incredible voice....hurray for Lee! I think he may be my favorite...I was wishy washy about him until week 1 of the top 12...then I fell in love with his voice...it has only gotten stronger, this love of mine. HURRAY for LEE! Yeah judges comments!

Crystal. in stilettos. "Midnight train to Georgia "...this song is brilliant for her. I love her...I want her and Lee to do a duet...Man, i love her.

The 3 year-old is our final singer of the night. "Ain't no sunshine". *I would have liked to seen Miley sing back to Aaron to show him how to do it:)...at least we know Usher has a real voice:) I fear he may get stronger and stronger every week...the little girls love him...he isn't annoying (like Disney) and he does have a good voice. I do better, if I don't look at him while he sings. Well, Usher did the "i know" part better...oh well. Not that great...kind of lack luster...he'll still be here next week.

The pause between "THIS" and "is..." gets longer and longer every season...maybe that's why the show has to be an hour long....just get on with it already.

Do we get a lip sync? (is that even how you spell/say that word?) Yeah...a lip sync...and Wham for goodness sakes...guess if you are gonna lip sync that's the song to pick. Didi almost bit it...good thing she wasn't concentrating on trying to stay in key (on pitch...whatever). Really...it's a good thing don't have to really sing...'cause they are all spending way to much time watching each other trying to sway the correct way and appear to have some sort of rhythm.

Pitch issues...funny...a recording studio could fix that:) Does for so many young singers who CAN'T SING!

Casey: "Power of Love". Ok...this is a good song for him...maybe it's because he sounds EXACTLY like the original. Did you know that when I was little I bought my dad a huey lewis and the news cassette tape for Christmas? Just thought you would like to know. Oh...back to Casey...we agree with Simon.

Didi: "Your no good". I like her voice...very unique, but in a good way. I liked this performance, or vocal, if you will:) I disagree Randy. I didn't think it was as bad as the judges heard...hmmmm...am I hearing things wrong...it is past my bedtime.

Siobahn...going last...hmmm...stacked? I think so...what up with the hair and outfit...she's a weird chick. "superstitious" Is she gonna start on the stairs every week? It's finally here...the REAL show is beginning...doesn't it feel like it takes FOREVER to get to this part...? Man! Oh well...let's see how they do, 'cause so far I have been seriously underwhelmed.

Things that will be interesting to watch...

-how much will Kara "lay" on Simon?

-how many jokes will Ellen crack now that we are on the "big stage"?

-will there be any good makeovers?

So far they all look about the same...too bad.

Theme: Rolling Stones...too bad that one kid that thought he was from the 70s got the boot the first week...this week would have been a dream for him.

Cocky boy is up first (you may know him as Michael...I will call him cocky boy from here on out)...nice scarf in your interview, by the way. "Miss you". Lot's of falsetto...whatever...he's full of himself. If you are "Michael" fan be prepared to get nothing but annoyance from me on this kid...there's one every year...there may be more then one this year. Amen on the corny dancing Simon...wow...he's just cocky.

****There's a strange feeling this show...I don't know what it is...things seem weird and off...I think they have all been on the show so long that they aren't taking it very serious, which makes me feel a little bad for the contestants.

Didi is second up. "Play with Fire". Her outfit is killing me...does she have a body suit on under that vest...you remember those...the kind that snap under your crotch (yep, wrote crotch on the blog). Kind of a boring song...her mouth is almost as big as Mic's. Sounds nasally a bit...whatever again. (joke number one for Ellen). Judges liked her...that's good for her.

Casey. "It's all over now"...oh...he's got the guitar....one handed guitar at that. I don't see the appeal of him...judges? My heart is not racing...(joke number 2 for Ellen). I'm glad Simon wasn't as sold on him.

Lacey. "Ruby Tuesday". Little quartet on stage...nice. I don't get the top of her outfit. I do like her unique voice, at times. Sometimes it sounds great and other times it's nails on a chalkboard. Lily should have been here over Lacey...sorry Lacey...and this has nothing to do with this performance...I actually didn't mind it...Lily is just better. I'm with Randy (shocking I know)..."I was actually pleasantly surprised too".

Andrew. "Give me Shelter" (Kara's first Simon cuddle). Okay...we all know David LOVES this kid. I'm afraid he will never get positive feedback from the judges after the Paula song praise. So...I hope they quit that and just start listening to his voice...he has a great voice and seems like a VERY nice kid...not like cocky boy. Really, just a great voice. Jam it Randy....I didn't hear "pitchy"...I may be with Ellen on this one. Hello? Kara? He didn't write the song...Thank you Simon...she is taking it too literally...he wasn't even alive during the Vietnam war. I'm glad Simon said what he did...he has hope for him...good. David will want to punch Kara in the face, of course, he does all the time any way:)

Katie. "Wild Horses". We have seen enough of this girl's hometown and family. Here comes the double standard...young girls need to sound younger...the young boys can do whatever they want. That backlit shot looks kinda like my girl Kat McPhee...did anyone see her on "Community"?...she was all over my boy Joel...I didn't recognize her at first with her short blonde hair...she did good. And this Katie has got a serious voice on her...some of the notes sound off to me (I know:) but overall I liked it. Technically perfect?...she's like 12 year's old...what do you expect? Simon is being extra nice tonight...engagement looks nice on him.

Tim (I'm gonna call him Disney). "Under my Thumb". I'm telling you Disney...pick this kid up...create a show around he and his 9 siblings...then he can put out an album like every other star of every other show on your channel. Nothing exciting about this kid for me...he has a fine voice...he can strum a guitar...whatever....those little girls are gonna call...he may hurt Baby Aaron's numbers 'cause I'll give him that he is cuter then Baby Aaron. Oh no...Tim, don't respond to the judges...just stand there with your sparkly white teeth. Dear Simon, no rolling stones fans would listen or vote for this kid anyway...it's the tweens I'm telling you...the tweens...turn on DISNEY.

Siobahn. Interesting family/dad. There are times when she looks really pretty...but her hair and outfits and make-up kill it a lot. "Painted Black"(I really like this song). Wow...she's skinny...like Mic Jagger skinny:) Nice military boots with your molly ringwald (died black) dress. She just sounds nasally to me. Oh, so the judges liked that screechy note you did that one time...so we are going to have to hear it every time...(not so) nice to have you back one trick pony Adam Lambert. (See? Kara said his name...blech) Of course, I said his name in a bad way and she loves him. See? Simon said she would have to scream at the end of every song too...I have told you once, I have told you a thousand times...I COULD BE A JUDGE ON THIS SHOW!

Lee (Eliot Yamin #2). I like this kid...he's nice...I'm mixed on his voice. "Beasts of Burden" Okay...I REALLY enjoyed that. Not mixed on his voice tonight...i could listen to that over again. (Ellen...#3). I'm glad they like him...I think America does too. I don't agree about his personality...I think he is just such a nice guy...I think America will see it. Although, I am really glad Simon thinks he has a great song and is pushing him.

Paige. I get sick of the single parent stick...I'll leave it at that. I don't like this girl. "(I didn't hear what she is singing". Does the leather strap around her neck make her country? And those shorts are B-A-D. I think it may even be a shortsuit...I wore one to my sister's graduation in 1993...it wasn't a good look then...just saying. Laryngitis excuse...I'm over her.

Aaron. Ohhhhh, this kid needs to GO. He just made a comparison of his singing to a lack of ability in his adoptive mom and says he doesn't know where he gets it from since his mom doesn't sing....Ummmmm...maybe your birth family? "Angie". What's with all the sitting on the stairs? (First makeover...faux hawk and lots of foundation). Maybe the song is "An-jay"?:) With the new hair...he actually may be good competition for Disney. He has a decent voice...I just don't like him. (Ellen #4). The judges just love this kid...what is Kara always talking about...ugh she bugs me.

Crystal. She is probably my favorite of the year...I think she has such a great voice and I just really enjoy listening to her. (makeover #2...look closely at her whiter teeth). Do you know who she reminds me of...Julia Stiles... "You can't always get what you want". I would like to see her do a duet with Melissa Etheridge. That was FANTASTIC...great voice...great performer...just naturally good. (#5 for Ellen). No Kara...she doesn't come off like she's "got this"...that's cocky boy...See...I knew there was something bothering her last week...something is going on with this girl...I hope this girl goes all the way!

All I'm gonna say about the beginning is that I hope America sees how cocky Michael is...'cause it is beyond bad...beyond. Oh...and these opening numbers are so B-A-D...let's just make the show 30 minutes.

ummmm...Kara, I'm sorry dear...but YOU are leaning on Simon, not the other way around...good try though.

Lee is up first...singing my current fav song. I like Lee...but he did not do my song justice. Kara, he did NOT make the song a better song (oh...and tonight she IS wearing her ring). I agree with Simon.

The mullet....boring song, but he has a really nice voice.

Tim...not a good idea...'cause nobody can redo this song but my boyfriend from 2 seasons ago (I think)...Jason Castro...Unfortunately, he looks like a star on the Disney channel so the tweens are voting for him. Okay....I do LOVE Ellen...that was cute!

Andrew...gonna do Christina...he did Paula well, so here's hoping..."Genie in a Bottle"...good night he better hit this one out the ball park. Totally LOVE that better then Christina...he could do a whole album of remakes and I would buy it. Judges? whatever...

Casey...I enjoyed that. He's not one of my favorites...but it was good.

Aaron...now this kid really kids. This is NOT sounding good....getting a little better. Why don't they tell him he sounds "too old"...he's like 13:)...not good again...and his clothes ALWAYS suck. Hey lip synchers how ya doin'? Seriously...BEPs sung by these folk...this is so BAD. This is the WORST thing I have ever heard...I had to fast forward...that was just terrible.

1st guy to hit the dust...John Park....2nd guy...(David's freakin' out that Andrew is standing out there center stage)...Jermaine (did they NEED to give my husband a near heart attack?)

Danny sings...was it good? I fast forwarded through it...and now I am going to forward through this conversation with Ryan 'cause he BUGS.

1st girl...didi or Michelle...based on last night, I would say Michelle (more on her outfit then anything:) Hurray...I'm glad Michelle is going home. 2nd girl...(I saw the end before I watched from the beginning so I know that my least favorite singer goes...tee hee)...Haeley...good job America.

**Interesting thought (since I have been very frustrated with the judges opinions and the praise they have given singers who I think have sounded like CRAP)...at the beginning of this episode, Simon stated that watching it back, the judges had given praise to some singers who didn't deserve it and he even turned the tv off on one singer. Then Kara told Michelle that she thought she had done so great last night, but watching it back, she did not do well "technically" (whatever...she was out of tune) and was probably in trouble...which obviously was true since she got the boot. Just goes to show, that those of us listening at home (and the voters) are hearing what things truly sound like and the judges don't have a clue what the contestants sound like till they watch the show at home...I wish that would make me feel less frustrated when the judges are going on and on after a song...but I'm sure I'll get just as annoyed.**

(I wonder if Haeley was the one Simon turned the tv off on...?)

Business....I appreciate all of you that are commenting on the performances...I have been so unimpressed and like that I can hear some other's opinions too. Also...(Jo-dan) I said that the first night of the top 12 was March 16th and so our party should be on the 12th...NOT that we should party on the 16th...READ girl Read...:) Of course, the 12th no longer works for me...SO, at Jo-dan's suggestion...can we gather on the 17th? watch the singing and then see who gets the boot? I'm great with that....leave a comment either way...

on to the singing (for both nights)...

Boys are singing 'cause one of the girls is in the hospital?...(lots of controversy about them moving the girl's night...is Crystal a judges favorite?)

Michael's up first...I don't really like him...as a person...he has a good voice, but he seems cocky to me and that annoys me.

John...the judges are always hatin' on this kid...he has a good voice though.

Casey....I don't really enjoy him either...(do I like any of these guys)...no, he doesn't have the best voice, but the little girls are gonna keep votin' for him.

***I can't decide if Kara is afraid to sit too closely to Ellen or if her chair is just attached to Simon's.

Then there's Ellen who is calling the piano a guitar....did you all think it was that slow? Have I said in this post yet that Kara BUGS me? Glad Simon agrees with me.

Paige...coloring???? Wow! I really like "walk away" of course you all know I LOVE me some KC. She does have a strong voice, but some of those notes...Woah...not so hot.

On with the shows:

It's Wednesday...I'm just watching the girls...then I'll see the boys. So far I am not so impressed with these girls. I have some that I REALLY don't like...the rest I am ho-hum about.

Paige...she has a strung voice...but whatever.

Ashley...I have liked this girl since day 1...but not my fav performance of hers.

Janell...this was a mess...she should have sung a song like she did in Hollywood...with her guitar.

Lilly...I actually liked this performance a lot...Probably my favorite of the night...is that weird?

Katelyn...her hair is BIG...her singing is fine.

Hailey...this girl has BUGGED since day 1...I have always thought she sounded out of tune...and once again a mess...please vote her off.

Lacey...I LOVE "Landslide" but that wasn't good, which is too bad 'cause I like her.

Michelle..."Fallen"...oh girl..you don't sing Alicia...I definitely did not enjoy her arrangement...but overall it was just okay for me.

Didi...I like this song too...her out fits SUCKS. Seems like a good song choice for her...but it sounds just like the original song. I do like her voice.

Siobhan (what?)...she's a weird chick and she sings through her nose...and David says she messed up the words....he just googled it and she said "need" instead of "meet"...he's pissed about it:) and I want to yank that nose ring out.

Crystal...I have liked this girl...oh...this is a good song. She's a mix of Tracy Chapman and Joan Osborne. I like her. David says if you are standing up there with a harmonica and guitar you should go to a bar...the judges say a coffee shop...same diff. I hope America keeps her...we need her on the show.

Katie...I like this girls voice a lot...it's funny, though, 'cause as soon as she was done I KNEW they were going to tell her that she is only 17 and needs to sing 17 year-old songs...that she sounds WAY older then she is. The only problem...her voice just sounds older then she is, so I think that she will struggle with that throughout.

Todrick...oh...do you remember his first song? He sang about AI and the judges, etc...it was cool. "Since you been gone"...hmmmm....It's Bel Biv Devoe (I LOVE them)..I totally LOVE it...completely different...way to "take a risk". Very cool! Randy...jam it! These kids can never win..."too safe" "endulgent"...blah blah blah. If you have love for bel biv devoe you will have love for Todrick.

Aaron...I can't believe this kid made it...his eyebrows are buggin'...we call eyebrows like that "Pretty" in my house (it's not a good thing). He sounds terrible. Wow judges...guess we don't agree on this one.

Jermaine...yes sir...you did look like a fool...I didn't realize he made it. Ho hum...his outfit sucks too. He's cocky I think...and he's wearing skinny pants...have I professed my distaste for skinny jeans here? If I haven't, let me just tell you...skinny jeans are not attractive and I wish they were taken out of society...I'm sorry, are we talking about singing here? I'm glad the judges didn't really like it either...

Tim...oh...he's the one that was cut and brought back. David hates his hair...this is a good song. Nana T will agree that David A did a WAY better job...this kid is kinda slaughtering it...he CANNOT hit those falsetto notes. Well...thanks for coming back...I think you shall be heading home to Texas.

Joe...this is not good either...guess, again, I heard something completely different...

That 70s guy...he so bugs me...ohhh shocking...he's sing a 70s song...even has the Steven Tyler sash (around his neck not the mic stand...but same diff.)....David just gave me "the look" then stated, "I hope this year doesn't suck"...here's to hoping.

Lee...I like this kid...I did not like that performance...too bad, I was hoping for better. WHAT? I guess I didn't hear what Simon heard...I'm really glad that Simon liked him and I do hope he does well...I'm just surprised.

Room 2...like that first blonde girl they show, I like the worship pastor a lot, ohhhhh, but they are in the same room as THAT rocker chic Mary that I cannot stand...seriously, I just can't stand her and I hope America hates her too!

Room 3...I like Ashley Rodriguez, she isn't sitting in a room with very good people...too bad because I REALLY have liked her since her initial try out. I don't think that Hailey girl is that great...her voice grates on my nerves. The annoying girl from Murray is in there...the girl that wears the obnoxiously big and colorful glasses. I also like the long blond hair girl that sang the Taylor Swift song...I don't care what the judges say about it being the wrong song...I liked her better on it then when Taylor sings it live. (Have I mentioned I think Taylor Swift sucks live)

Ok...if room 1 doesn't make it through then something is really wrong with AI. I'm mixed about room 2...but with that annoying Mary chic I'm fine with the whole room going home. Room 3, I don't really care either way.

Room 1....(Kara's dress SUCKS)...blah blah Ellen...just send them through...Thank you!

Room 2...PLEASE send them home...PLEASE...oh that makes me SO happy...I do feel bad that they are so sad...but if that Mary chic made it through I would be really upset. I'm sad about the Charity chic...but I'm over it!

Room 3...don't you love how they walk in all sad looking and then they stay...and they are smiling when they have to send them home...lame. I am glad about a few kids in this room...but not all.

Oh, how I LOVE them...if you didn't already know from all my BIG BROTHER chat last summer about wanting a Big Brother wedding! I'm just real glad that they are together...there is still a chance. Oh...and Jeff completely still cracks me up...can you tell that I am excited that I get to watch them again...yahoo!

It is a good sign that my Jeff and Jordan came in 1st...you have no idea how happy this makes me...LOVE THEM!
It is NOT a good sign when on the first episode you have a team walking instead of riding on the trammy thing (acquiring a 30 minute penalty)...you have teams who are painting the inside of a house instead of the outside...you have a team losing a paint brush when the task is painting (acquiring a 15 minute penalty)...you have a guy who can't even complete the very first task...a team who decides to paint over some graffiti...
You know it's going to be an interesting race when you have 2 penalties in the first leg...AND...when a team has to get kicked off at the first task 'cause they can't even make it to the pit stop mat....are these that sad of teams? Looks like my Jeff and Jordan stand a GOOD chance of making it far:)

I have a funny memory involving them (Hannah you can appreciate)...my cousin (Brandon) was at one time obsessed with Dave Matthews (I'm not sure if he still is) but we were driving to Beaver, UT for Thanksgiving (from BYU) and we listened to Dave the whole way there...it was a live CD...after every song, my cousin would make us clap...you know, 'cause it was live. Dave's having a party up there on that stage.

I didn't really care all that much for last night's show. There was one girl in a black dress...I liked her...she had a cute personality and a good voice. Best part of last night's show..."I kissed a girl" getting all up in Kara's face...it was fantastic.

I have been struggling on blogging about the city try-outs because I haven't really cared about any of the singers yet. Plus...I am totally bummed that this is Simon's last season...makes me sad every time he cracks me up because NO ONE will be able to replace him...hmmmm.

A few thoughts about this week...liked Shania as a guest judge....LOVE Kristen Chenowith...DID NOT love her friendship with Kara...oh well. And what up with the crazy guy that not only had to be man handled out of the room but ended up with handcuffs...good tv AI good tv.

Watched it...Loved it...missed Simon these past many months...Didn't want to punch Kara last night (that's a first)....hated the lacey thing on Posh's head the first day in Boston...much better look the second day.

No stand out favs yet...just always trying to guess if the kids are LDS when they show big families and their dress is modest. Loved the "cancer kid" who stated he found out about the cancer while serving a mission in Spain...my mom and I were trying to decide if he has Osmond connections. He didn't mention it...but it seemed to backfire for the Osmond boy last season (or was it the season before) so maybe he decided to keep that quite...he is from Sandy though. Also liked the 16 year-old girl from the big family with 4 brothers that have down syndrome (3 adopted)...loved her voice and her maturity...loved that Simon commented that she isn't one of the annoying 16 year-olds.

Excited to watch another night tonight....I just LOVE this show!

Gotta love reality tv...I'm just starting to write this as the first person is eliminated and Kat's mic goes out and then Russell is hurt?...

1st person going home...Ryan...no shock...

but let me back up...opening number...cool...replay of some old routines...enjoyed most so far...fast forwarded through the tap number...and Leona Lewis...and some other random group.

Oh Adam's on...how come he gets to perform on Finale night and Kris just got some random night? I'm gonna fast forward before he starts screeching.

A flashback of the season...hey...there's that guy that was supposed to be in our top 20 but got super sick and had to leave before week 1....and Channing who I still think got robbed.

2nd person going home...Ashley...sort of fitting really:)...although I do like her better then Eleanore (her dancing that is)

More dance repeats...Russell's hurt so we will watch a video...

3rd place and 3rd going home....Eleanore...again not a shock...the shock will be who it comes down to in the final 2. Because I think we are now down to the 3 individuals that all of us are loving....

Eleanore & Jakob...They shouldn't have her leap when he leaps...just makes her look pathetic. Very cool routine...i like it! Jakob is ridiculous...seriously ridiculous...and if this show was strictly based on dance...he would HAVE to win...I just really think he is fantastic. Eleanore did well...I just don't really like her.

Ashleigh & Russell....as frustrating as it is that she is still on the show after not dancing last week...she is a beautiful dancer...she has had very lucky draws this season...I really like this routine A LOT...both she and Russell are doing fantastic...and I LOVE this song. I'm gonna have to watch that one again...lovely...that's the best word I can use to describe it. Hmmmmm...I couldn't stop watching her...

Eleanore & Ryan...This music is kinda freakin' me out. Interesting...not my fav, but kinda cool at the same time....obviously they are robots and doing a great job at that...but that music is just buggin'.

---no big surprise on any of those for me. Eleanore is strange and Mollee is annoying (although not as bad as she was during the auditions). I was a little bugged with how Adam went on and on about Mollee and even compared her to Jeanine (don't do that). On the boys end of things...not entirely surprised by that either...Russell's solo was WAY better then Legacy's...AND...I think people felt bad that Russell had to team up with "new" partners the day of...AND...I think Legacy may rub people the wrong way...you know!

Going home:

Mollee...okay...pretty shocked by this...I know, I know...she bugs me...but she did pretty fantastic last night and well...Eleanore bugs me more...kinda thought America was with me on this one.

Legacy...WHAT THE CRAP....seriously? I don't believe it...I seriously don't believe it. Ryan has been skatin' by all season...I REALLY think the "producers" did something here...Remember the comment Ryan made last night about everyone wanting to see he and his wife dance together...for some reason the producers believe that...NOT TRUE...so they kept him...I'm pissed about it really...I can't stand the thought of having to watch another Ryan solo...oh well...I'll get over it!

ummmm...there are only 3 girls...where's Ashleigh?...dislocated shoulder...doctor won't clear her...so how does that work? Guess if she has fans...she'll stay in...

Kathryn & Ryan: (NO...America could care less to see you dance with your wife...have you noticed that she has never been in the bottom and you have been countless times)...DISCO...uggg. Why always this song...are there no other disco songs? Not totally together and some hesitation before some of the lifts...and I am so not feeling the chemistry...can't she dance with Legacy again? I'm SO glad the judges saw something I didn't...maybe America did too and Kathryn will be safe. I guess I don't like Ryan, so tonight is going to be tough for me to watch him with my girl Kathryn. I'm glad Nigel saw a little of what I did...I'm not feeling so crazy.

Mollee & Jacob...Vienesse(sp?) Waltz..Interesting song choice for this type of dance. Ok...so I totally hate that I like Mollee's dancing more and more each week (not her..just her dancing)...drives me crazy. It was really terrific....just makes me angry.

Russell (without Ashleigh) baliwood...Is it just me...or does this seem effortless for this girl? she is a much better "assistant" then the last chic. It was good...

A few things about last night's show:

1-I really enjoyed the opening number...maybe mostly because I LOVE Billy Joel.

2-I could care less for all the blah blah let's replay all of last's night dances and commentary...MAKE THIS SHOW 30 MINUTES PLEASE!

3-I LOVE Snoop Dogg...I LOVE that he sang an old song...I LOVE that we got to see Dominic and Hok.

4-The "guest" dance group was AWESOME...absolutely LOVED the hip hop routine to the "classical" musical. I love NappyTabs, but I am betting they wish they had thought of that...

5-I am angry at America about the bottom 4 (okay...really only about Kathryn...totally satisfied with the rest).

Irritated that the married couple are still both in the game...although, this may come as a surprise to you...I'm ready for Ryan to go...Ashleigh still bugs me...but at least she is dancing well each week.

Here we go:

Noelle & Ryan...hip hop (nappytabs)...this dance sucks...the choreography isn't awful...their dancing is. and can I just say that I really think they "dumbed" down this routine for them. I didn't feel like they did much hip hop...sorry, not that impressed....of course, I don't really like either of them, so that doesn't help!

Ashleigh & Legacy...contemporary....hmmm...that was interesting...I don't really know how I feel about it. Strange choreography...that guy seems kinda old to be choreographing. They did great...just a weird routine for me. Glad the judges liked it!

Mollee profile...name drop....plug, plug, plug...and a solo: Have I told you all how much I HATE her solo costumes? Just wondering...typical Mollee.

Russell profile...very short profile...maybe he should have tried out for HSM...VERY cool solo.

Kathryn & Nathan (I heart kathryn...not so much Nathan)...I didn't even watch him...I think she is so pretty and I LOVE to watch her dance. As always....a dance history lesson from Nigel:)

Noelle profile...quick...put on your yellow tank top and then go and do 50 different activities so you look well-rounded and connected to your family. Oh and her solo choreography is always crappy.

Ryan looks highly spray-tanned tonight.

Eleanore & Jakob....she bugs me...so does the quick step. I bet one of the judges makes a crack about the trophy at the "quick step competition"...or maybe not...it's falling apart. Oh...they did it themselves (holding that trophy up). It was the "tapping" part that I thought was a bit of a mess.Oh...Mary did it.

Ryan profile...Salt Lake Temple...his hair sucks...so does his routine. Really bad...not even sure he did any dancing...holy make-up.

Kathryn profile...I do love her...I want her to win.

Mollee & Russell...lyrical jazz...Mandy Moore loves the late 80s early 90s. That whole lift sequence seemed labored...I hate to say this...but I don't feel the chemistry with these 2. Nope...definitely needed a storyline/back story for this one. Sorry judges...didn't love it that much.

Nathan profile...his hair sucks too...his face "pain" does not match the peppy beat of that song...kinda bugs...now he is a big baby...dude, your 18...toughen up.

Ryan & Noelle....smooth waltz...zzzzzzzzzzz....I hope ryan goes home.

Eleanore profile...her parents moved to NY for her to dance...that's crazy. Her dances are all very similar...kinda bugs...I hope she goes home with Ryan.

Ashleigh & Legacy...hip hop...ohhhh Legacy..you lucky pants...Okay...I am totally disappointed...did Dave Scott not get the memo that Legacy is a b-boy and could have rocked the house. Ashleigh did most of the dancing...it was highly disappointing...but totally not the dancers faults...I fully agree with everything the judges said...totally not good...too bad.

Kathryn & Nathan...rumba...she's sexy...he bugs me. Didn't love that one either...totally agree with Nigel...Nathan does have that sour look on his face a lot.

Legacy profile...how come fleas not on the show? kinda a cool story. He does some VERY cool stuff! that's 'cause Kathryn LOVES him!

Eleanore & Jakob...contemporary...by Sonya...this is where I LOVE Jacob...he really is amazing and does not get the accolades that the other boys get. As always...a GREAT routine by Sonya...so very cool! That may have just saved her. I love how much Sonya loves when the kids do her dance...such a proud mama. Standing O from the judges...

Ashleigh profile...oh mama has serious UT hair...yowza. No pics of Ryan there...kinda funny. latin ballroom solo sucks...okay the fast part is kinda cool.

Mollee & Russell...jive...they are doing a pretty good job...she isn't near as sexy as Anya...but good still....and Russ is definitely no Pasha.

Jakob...he really is the BEST dancer on the show this year...his legs are amazing!

Mollee and Nathan (which makes me both happy and sad...happy 'cause they bug...sad 'cause I should have put them in the bottom)

Ryan & Eleanore (no surprise there...Noelle is VERY lucky)

The solos:

Karen...her solos suck...she doesn't do much...she looked like she was going to cry at the end.

Victor...his dramatic solos remind me of Brandon from last year...that's not a good thing...'cause Brandon really bugged me. What was that backward crawly thing at the end?

Mollee...(I HATE her solo outfits). She is a frantic dancer in her solos...do you get that I don't like her?:)

Nathan...Interesting choreography...I actually don't mind him tonight.

Eleanore...(how quirky is she going to be this time?) She Always points...it bugs...not great...but at least not so weird?!

Ryan...He can have the points for being sexy...I guess...but it just is hard to enjoy the ballroom dancers doing solos...

Going home:

Oh please...Mollee did not fight...she was throwing herself all over the place...what if you dance fast and frantic and crazy that "fighting"? Doesn't matter...I didn't have her going home. And the judges don't know what to say to Eleanore...ummmmm...how 'bout don't be so weird?! And poor Karen...you are so fantastic and sexy...but you just suck...totally felt like she gave up...I actually agree with Nigel...Peace Out girly...Karen is out!

Victor...something about Kelly Osborne?...and then a comparison about her growth and Victors? Weird...does he have stake in Dancing with the Stars because this is the 2nd time he has mentioned them this week. Ryan...blah, blah, blah....Nathan...I trash on you every week...and you aren't growing....if I had my way you would be going home (that's nice Nigel)....

Ryan & Eleanore-lindy hop: I hate the Lindy hop. I'm glad that's over. I don't care what the judges say...It's just too cheesy for me.

Legacy & Katherine-jazz with Sonya (hurray)...LOVE how he came out on the floor...LOVE the 2 of them (she's my number 1 now that Channing is gone). So cool...LOVED it!

Victor & Karen-Tango (with my fav pair of ballroom choreographers)...I use to like Karen...but I thought she was real bad last week...and I now see her as the girl who should have gone home and allowed my Channing to stay...I don't care about this routine, or the 2 of them. Judges?...whatever...

Nathan & Molly-hip hop...(these 2 kids bug me soooo much)...I LOVE BEP...I don't love them.Did Alexander Graham Bell have crazy hair like Einstein? When the phone would ring at my grandparents house...my grandpa would say, "some one grab the Alexander Graham"...are they getting tired there at the end?

Russell & Noelle-samba...I think I just found my first bottom couple of the night...that's lookin' a hot mess. And that hip shakin' she thinks she's got down...NOPE...not even good...girlfriend needs to watch the Shakira video...that was just NOT good!

Ashleigh & Jakob-lyrical jazz (sonya again)..."it's breathy and airy":) I hate that they do so great every week...I liked all the great jumps and stuff. I don't really feel like she "danced" much...but it was pretty...and what up with his flexibility all ready. Oh dear...Adam's getting choked up (not that it takes much). Amen Nigel about Sonya...I sooooo agree!

TAKE 2:

R&E....Broadway...Wow...the lindy hop and Broadway in one week...do they want them sent home? Wasn't horrible...just kinda boring for me...

L&K...Viennese Waltz...I just think she is so pretty both as a girl and as a dancer. And he has really grown on me! I don't care what the judge said...I could watch her spin like that forever! Ok...Legacy...let's not get carried away:)

K&V...hiphop...this choreography SUCKS!!!! Where are my NappyTabs? And now I have couple number 2! yeah...that was B-A-D!

N&M...cancan...(Nathan said "meandmolly"...is she really mean? 'cause I think she is just annoying".) She looks tired and they are just getting started. I didn't really like it.

R&N...contemporary...That was kinda cool...just not the biggest fan of these 2.

J&A...cha-cha...she better knock this out:)...OK...so it is hard not to watch her...she is good at that...and always more enjoyable when she doesn't lick her lips (like she did when dancing with her husband)....thank you for pointing out her annoying "points" though!

I've decided that it irritates me that the judges have so much control until we get down to the top 10. They have their favorites and keep them in the competition, even though America wants them out. This is the second week that America has put Karen in the bottom...she should go...not Channing...LAME. I'm also irritated that they keep bagging on Channing and her lack of personality...I think she is terrific and I have liked her from the beginning...I'm just bummed! I think I even have her in my final 4...(tear)....

Week 4....The dancing

Ashleigh and Jakob get to be with my favs Nappytabs (jealous). One of those dances when I hope they suck because I can't stand Ashleigh...but love Nappytabs so I want the dance to be good. (I LOVE this song). Ok...so the premise of the dance was great...and you could feel it...however...there were parts I really liked and then others not as great. Overall, a really great routine. I probably would be raving if one of my fav couples were dancing it.

Karen & Kevin...Broadway...(who's Spencer Liff?)ummmm...I don't really know. I think they danced it well...I'm pretty impressed with Kevin...but I'm not sure they pulled it off. Broadway almost a killer like the quickstep is. Probably also not as good without some sort of prop on the stage...felt kinda empty?

Noelle & Russell...Fox trot...I will give them this...they look like they really like each other and are having a great time. I thought it was good...not professionally ballroom speaking. Guess the judges agreed.

Channing & Victor...jazz..I think Tyce is getting crazier each season. What up with all the huge props this year? I really liked that...thought it was totally cute. I LOVE Channing...Victor did great...I like him...don't love him. Crazy Tyce did a good job!

Katherine & Legacy...Pasa Doble...oh...please do good...I like these 2. I liked that...finally a paso that doesn't revolve around a bull fight...really...I liked it a lot. But I LOVE Katherine like I LOVE Channing...so they can almost do no wrong. I was disappointed when Legacy made top 20, but he has grown on me...I think he does a great job and I actually like him.

Eleanore & Ryan...contemporary with Travis...she kinda bugs me...I wonder if she bugs America...I wonder if that is why they were in the bottom 3 last week.? That was good. Oh Nigel...your fav of the night? hmmm...I guess it is hard to love a routine when you don't love the people in the routine. High praise all around from Nigel.

Mollee & Nathan (my least favorite couple). hmmmm...their childhood memories not helping my likeness factor. Jazz with crazy ex-P Diddy choreography Laurieann. (have I mentioned she bugs me?) So...I didn't hate it. Are the judges still talking....? Holy cow...guess their "dizzy feet" commercial didn't kill enough time...

Time to vote kids...who you gonna put in the bottom and who's going home? Just watched the playback...this is gonna be a hard one I think....

Why is it that the brother's keep saying the globetrotters are their biggest competition and they have wanted them gone for a long time. Ummmm....haven't the cute young couple come in first in more then half of the legs? Even if they don't win the million...they sure do have a ton of prizes. I think the brothers need to re-think their competition. And how is it that Miss "i wanna be" America and her husband are still in this thing...blech! And a little tear for daddy and son...I liked them!

Of the final four...the cute young couple are the only ones I remotely enjoy. I wouldn't mind the brothers, if they weren't so devious and mean (at times). I wouldn't mind the globetrotters, if they weren't already rich. I do mind the married couple...she's awful!

At the beginning of this game, I wanted Russell off so badly...now...I can't root for him enough. Last week...the galou tribe got him to play his hidden immunity idol for no reason at all...and ditched what's his bucket. So the big plan...vote him out this week...teehee...he found the hidden immunity idol again. Too bad Laura won the immunity idol competition, because that would have been a bigger shocker then sending home Kelly. The looks on their faces were AWESOME!

Kevin & Karen: Hustle...I liked it...I like them...I don't think I would have shared that I just got divorced...but they did a great job.

Ashleigh & Jakob: (nice way to name drop Jakob...I'm like best friends with Jeanine, last year's winner)...Mandy Moore Jazz...I don't know about that one. Parts I like and others I thought felt awkward and labored. Mmmm...let's see what the judges think.Guess the judges like Ashleigh more then I do! DO NOT compare this routine with the table routine...DO NOT!

Pauline & Peter: Quickstep: I don't really like either of them...let's see if I like the dance. Still don't like them. I'm no ballroom expert...but it looked sloppy to me. hmmm! Well...they liked them more then I liked them.

Katherine & Legacy: Broadway...Have I mentioned I like her...and he's growing on me. I thought that was super cute..I like them A LOT...Sorry....but you can't be a "man-eater" to THAT bubble of a song. I'm sad they didn't like Katherine...she's my fav!

Channing & Victor...(so glad Channing is with a good dancer now)...Contemporary...uhoh...they better rock this. (I like this girl's routines). Wow...I really liked that. I love the way she moves. Sorry Nigel...I thought they were brilliant...I LOVED it!

Eleanore & Ryan...Hip Hop....Not bad mister ballroom...not bad. Not the best hip hop...but pretty decent. Wow..guess Nigel didn't like it!

Mollee & Nathan...Salsa...Ok...so I don't really like this couple. (many of our dancers like to help the poor, needy and handicapped...Nathan likes to jet ski) NOT together at the beginning. Yeah...that was NOT good. I'm pretty sure bottom 3 is in store for these 2. How are they the dream team? She is so freakin' annoying!

'cause so far we haven't had a single say in the matter.

Fav routines of the night:

Karen and Kevin's hip hop....HOT HOT HOT...she is awesome...it was almost scandalous:) (and did you not LOVE Adam falling out of his chair:)

Kathryn and Legacy contemporary...WOW he did an amazing job...she is also fantastic and one of my top 3 girls...LOVE her...it was so great! (just rewound and watched again...that dance might just be up there....) I love how she used his b boy stuff!

Nathan & Mollee (and I CANNOT stand her)...but their balliwood was very cool...I think it's my fav Balliwood routine so far on the show...I liked that it just wasn't balliwood stuff...but incorporated western dance...very cool.

Not sure how I feel about these ones...

Noelle & Russell's hip hop...I liked it okay...I just felt like they lost steam at the end (then you watch the other hip hop routine of the night and this one gets bumped to the bottom)...plus, she ain't my fav girl!

Pauline & Peter's Wade (and Amanda) Robson's routine. Adam is right...you do have to be totally committed (and you know how I feel about Wade...still love him circa N'Sync). Here's my issues...the beginning was good...middle good...ending...pretty boring...if not for the background and other props I think they would have been lost on that stage. I will give Pauline this...MUCH better then last week. I don't really like Peter and I appreciate that Pauline called him out on the ladies man thing...she is SO right...nothing ladies man about him!

Not so fav routines of the night:

Ashleigh and Jakob's wedding dance...I really like him, even have him in my final 4...best part of the dance was his split leap in the middle from pretty much standing still. I despise her...wish the judges weren't liking her more and more...it was a fine routine...she just ruins everything for me...

Bianca & Victor's Broadway...I don't like her so that partially kills it for me...but I just didn't like it!

Channing and Philip's samba...I REALLY like her A LOT...she did a decent job...he was horrible...and I could care less for the routine.

Elleanore and Ryan's Argentine Tango...guess it's a good thing she had a stretchy dress on :) So, she won't go home since she "danced through that"...but I was a little bored. Most exciting part...watching her try to dance with her dress like that. Oh...and the ditty before their dance about what they like and dislike ruined all "like" I had for her...she is too weird for me...somethings should be kept to yourselves....I'm just saying!

Survivor catch up...

I'm finally caught up on Survivor...and I hate to say it...but I kind of like Russell now. He seems to have mellowed out a bit and he really is a good player when it comes to the competitions...of course, he will probably get nasty again now that they are going to merge this week. I was a little bummed to see the girl go over whiney boy...oh well!

From the previews it looks like we will see what we always see...the smaller "weaker" team laying low...while the larger "stronger" team picks each other off...funny how that always happens.

Heaven forbid anyone ever read the entire clue before choosing a task...don't do the dance if you can't eat the herring. Don't walk in those awful wooden shoes if there are bikes to ride...

It's only the first week of dance and it's already all a mess....SO....you can take all week to leave a comment with your final 4 picks (for a few extra points at the end of the game). Mollee and Nathan...the disco routine...I thought it was a hot mess...guess the judges feel differently. doesn't help that Mollee was dancing it...she bugs me...I like the guy.

I will forever be in shock that Mika didn't just do down the slide...I would have pushed her down with sheer brute force...completely ridiculous! Oh well...I didn't want them to win...still shooting for the cute young couple with blonde hair...or the dad/son team!

Did you watch the top 20 last night...I did (with my mom in Seattle:) and it was good. Have a few favs already...and the people that I didn't like...still don't like. My fav routines were the hip hop (shocker, I know) and the 2 contemporary dances (another shocker:). I did NOT like the tap routine...and was ho hum about the ballroom dancers. I actually like the "husband" and the "wife who's husband was eliminated in Vegas"...don't really like the "husband's wife" (and that is how I will refer to them.

I am a little confused about what Cat said at the end of the show...something about 2 people being eliminated tonight...did I hear wrong?....we shall see!

The ballet dancer (why didn't our fav dancer that couldn't get out of his contract come back)...oh and this guy didn't make it and the others are SHOCKED. Why are they so upset? Hello...that means more spaces for all of you that are still sitting there...you should be cheering..."yeah..I still have a chance".

Katherine from LA auditions...she's a cute girl. But she's gotta stop with the crying....seriously! Don't make fun of her...'cause you are going see a lot more of her. I think she may be one of my favorites...

Billy Bell...leaving Julliard for a little stint on a little show called "so you think you can dance"...I'm a little annoyed he made it, only because they have featured him a TON, unlike other dancers.

Amber (who Nigel was real hard on in her original try-out)...wow...and the room is shocked again...I kinda want to kick the curly blond girl...and if she makes it...I will probably have her on my "get her out of there" list from day 1.

Russell the crumper...shocker...he made top 20...and what do you think the chances will be that he will get to work with Lil C the first week, with the "random draw". (there is another rumor that Mia may have cancer...and her shaved head may be an indication of possible approaching hair loss...that would be really sad...hopefully we will hear more soon).

and some other guy in braids made it.

Bianca the tapper...and i really hope she doesn't make it...Dang it! Well...add her to the "get her out of there" list.

And the 2 wives are the last to walk the stage...I really hope the dark haired girl makes it...and they don't put through the other girl just because her husband is in. Again...no other ballroom girls are through yet...so who goes....Hurray...good choice judges good choice...Karen is the winner!....well that's all very awkward...what?????? Paula turned them down...then why did she even bother coming. Of course, how would you feel if you were Ashley...we didn't really want you in the top 20, but since someone dropped out...we will take you too. Do you think she really was #11 on their list...or just the last girl to come out after Paula...I wonder if Paula hadn't shown up if they would have taken a different girl instead of Ashley...just wondering?

Seems like if I get away from my daily blog about sweet reality tv, that I get so behind, I'm not even sure how to catch up...so here is how I feel about what has happened in the past week...

Hell's Kitchen: the correct final 3 is the correct final 3. It will be interesting to see who will be up against the bald guy (let's be honest...you know who I am talking about better then if I used his name)...but I am pretty sure that "Kevin" will win the whole thing...just my opinion. Can I just say that I am a little annoyed by his language...mostly because he has a small child that will be watching the show and seeing a whole lot of bleeps and cloudy mouths due to his use of those 4 letter words. Guess he can't go telling the little one not to use such language if he does on national tv...I'm just saying.

Amazing Race: I kinda skimmed through this past Sunday's episode...I'm not sure why, maybe because I had a ton of other shows to get through....I wasn't sad about the older couple going home. They seemed so nonchalant about the challenges...I guess it's a good thing they had a good time!

So you think you can dance: I'm SO glad we are finally in Vegas! I am SO glad that many of the people they spotlighted in the first few weeks have gotten the boot! I am SO glad that Dance doesn't promote their top 20 prior to them being in the top 20...it's fun that we usually don't have a clue who any of them are when the real comp begins! Did any one else notice the blond curly hair girl. They put here through to Vegas after her city try-out on Tuesdays show...isn't she the younger sister of Kaitlyn from last season (sucky Kaitlyn that stayed in the top 20 way too long). I'm pretty sure that was her...how come they didn't remind us of this...is it because she makes the top 20 this year and they don't want her to have an unfair advantage??? I'm just curious! Oh, and in case you are wondering.....I LOVE this show! I LOVE the judges! I LOVE nappytabs (just wanted to remind you all)....can't wait till next week and more Dance!

Project Runway: Last week they worked in teams doing "blue" outfits...what cracked me up about the outfits last week, is the designers who were so proud and sure of their outfits were in the bottom...and the designers that were being made fun of by others were in the top...Awesome! Hey designers, if you are creating an outfit for Macey's you may want to go more ready to wear not runway ready...just a tip from an average dresser. and this week is the wedding dress challenge...again, the designers that are so sure and cocky are hurtin'...lovin' it. My girl Althea is staying safe and pretty in the middle for few weeks running. Irina has been steppin' it up the past few weeks...I think at this rate she will go far!

Survivor: SO So SO happy that loud mouth Ben got the boot last week...I haven't watched this week...in my dreams Russ is gone...but I know that is just a dream.

Have I missed any shows...Nope...still not watching Dancing with the stars or ANTM...you are on your own there:)

This show is great...I really think it is the best reality show on tv...mostly because there isn't a lot of down time (at least that we see) for the people to sit around and "bitch" and moan at each other. We get to see that during a lot of activity and chaos...awesome! After 2 hours and 2 episodes I have a few teams that I enjoy and a few that I can tell may drive me crazy.

Teams I like: The blonde couple, The Harlem Globetrotters, the gay brothers, Zev and his friend

Teams I dislike (already): the lawyer and his fiance (who does this guy think he is), the poker players (girlfriend is sure playing with a lot of emotion for a poker player), Miss America and her husband (oh...she is gonna bug)

The other teams I don't really think we have seen much...I did like the fact that they booted a team before they even left the starting line...pretty fun!

I need to share my feelings on little Miss Poker Players..."we're poker players...we know how to read people...we aren't getting good vibes off Zev (who has aspergers and literally gave the coat off his back to a vietnamese guy in the rain)...we don't think Lance is a lawyer" (all of this paraphrased and said in a high pitch annoying voice). Ummmm...you aren't getting good vibes of Zev and his friend...did you not tell EVERYONE that you worked for a non-profit in LA for homeless kids...when really you are poker players? yea...you know good vibes. Just glad everyone knows who they really are now...and LOVE that they are in love with the gay brothers...who are playing up the flirty thing so fantastically.

***I hope no one is offended that I am calling them the gay brothers...I mean on offense...it's just that they are brothers and both gay and they are faking the girls out other wise and if you aren't watching you wouldn't find it funny if the "brothers" were playing up the flirty thing! Of course, if I were on the show I would be checking them out too!

The ducks....guess it doesn't matter if you have pink hair...when you are raised in Montana, you know how to herd any animal...put those girls to shame! And seriously...those little waddling ducks were cute!

In the end...it was the on again off again couple that got the boot. I didn't have real strong feelings about them...though, both of their tempers may have led me to dislike them if they had remained on the show...so I am not saddened by their departure!

I can't believe how cocky and arrogant people can be...that Russ guy is killing me...and then he goes and finds himself an immunity idol...well, if that doesn't just beat all. Then there is Ben...who does this guy think he is. Pretty sure he didn't make himself any fans with the things he was saying about the chick that got to come to their camp. Now...don't get me wrong...not a good approach girlfriend...she was killing me...but he was...I don't really even have words for him. I was so hoping during tribal councel that people would change their mind and vote him off, after he repeated the horrible comments again...but no....nice Betsy was sent home.
